Hey just wondering if you can drop the torque specs down in the comments currently taking on the project myself
Got confused why you were talking about oem filters and oem oil then I remember it’s an auto shop channel. Any normal car guy would get Liquimoly or Amsoil for their detergents and dispersants strength. No I don’t advocate for oil changes past 5K.
Being a oem en turbo did you need to tune it to make more power or did it increase performance

You still need to tune it. The Hybrid turbo's have bored out internals so they can push more boost, more efficiently. This changes your power curve, so AFRs, timing, etc all need to be dialed in to match.

It's not a OEM En turbo, it's an oversized compressor/turbine/thrust bearing setup in a VN housing. You can run oem tune, it's fine, but if you want to get the most out of it you need a real tune.

What is the break in period procedure ?

We restrict the impeller from spinning for several seconds to allow oil supply to make its way into the turbo. We allow a few heat cycles before checking over tightness of hardware. Lastly a few leisurely drives to make sure no issues making partial boost before getting a retune and attempting its first pull.
