Everyone think the music fron their generation is the best and all others is trash..I seem my grandfather bash my mother's music from the 70s and 80s and my kids music their generation is not good at all. My son hates new music bt his sisters all like old and new but not him he all old school

2024 & still a bonafide classic. I was a child when I watched this video. Now an adult & it still sounds, looks & feels so beautiful. Thank you Maxi Priest for this. The memories are beautiful & timeless ❤️.

I remember this song back in the fall 🍂🍁 of 1990 I was starting college at EKU in Richmond Kentucky I was in the book store ordering my books and this song came on over the radio gave me a good feeling mtv was still out then I was 19 yrs old.

this is my favorite song of all time. i could listen to this 5 times in a row and never get tired of it. beautiful song. the video is a lot better than i thought it would be. first time i see it.

I gave u the 100th "like". And well deserved because I think this is probably my favorite song. (Always said I cannot pick a favorite song but if I had to, it would be this).

MAXI seemed to capture the Dance Club scene with his engaging melodic storytelling Tunes... Though known for his INCREDIBLE COVER of CAT STEVENS' "Wild World" his own songs like "That Girl" and THIS SONG, "Close To You" kept us on the dance floors. Maxi Priest and all of his slow, romantic ballads are a classical time piece. I am and always have been both romantic and sensual, and there is no surprises there! But non of the songs I listen to on this album and other albums of other artists, do not remind me of any past loves! They would not be so very enjoyable to listen to, if they reminded me of people whom have shared a part of my life with. For I no longer accept or want or need anyone in my past back, despite what other people may/may not perceived. I love most genres of music but not rock music, or heavy metal, never been into either of that type of music...So Maxi Priest on whatever day of the week or year, is brilliant to tune into...love and light xx
