Yes yes yes. Thank you. I've been doing this for years now. Started with a Teemo. Upgraded deck. Later motors/battery. New ESC and remotes. Thank you teemo/ownboard/wowgo/skullboard/meepo/lycaon and diy community. Did a full swap of hub motors recently took all apart to upgrade to rubber tires for fall/winter rides.

I've done the start from scratch a few times and rejiggered an evolve with diy battery and OG focboxes added parallel packs to other stuff. Man I thought this was going to be boring and cringy AF. yeah ok the unity plug had to go in there. but this is good advice. Clear simple concise, not too much information for the beginner. I'll be honest I'm not an expert never will be, but I like critiquing YTers..... I reckon this is solid.

Pretty cool video. I have a Max4 Pro that I use as a spare. The 750W M5 hubs really are pretty nicely made, but I think they would really wake up with a different ESC. I didn’t spring for the battery upgrade because I didn’t realize the difference between 22P and 30Q. Those 22Ps (used in the 4.4 batteries) feel pretty sleepy after some riding. Jason was definitely right that you want to get the battery upgrade and think about the future.

Good for you man...It takes a lot of courage do get back on the horse and put yourself out there! You can't help yourself, you're clearly passionate about eboards. You gotta be who you are...Can only suppress it for so long...You gotta be You no matter what! Cheers Jason. Btw just heard Australia is, for the first time in 30 years in a recession (guess things haven't been this bad since 1930s)...Crazy times. There are either dead ends or opportunities. The choice is ours to make (either way, whatever you choose you are right!). Looking forward to more vids!

ive been looking at buying this kit. Can anyone tell me about wheel bite on this kit? I want to put it on a cruiser deck that i have and am a bit unsure about the clearance of the wheels. the deck i want to use is a santa cruz cruiser style deck that dosent have spaces where the wheels go like on a long board deck. so my deck would hover over the wheels more.

So the more i watch your videos , the more my anger diminishes towards the fact i feel cheated in purchasing a R2.1 from you. 2 years of saving and an insane wait not knowing when my working and saving and patience would finally pay off. Then when the day finally came , it felt like a 10 year on xmas morn. But within 2 weeks....major issues. Started with one of the motors starting to knock. Progressively worse daily. Then remote randomly losing connection briefly at the worst times it always felt like about once every couple days. ( one leading to a concussion but ride at your own risk so....) then the nail in the coffin. The wheels chipping to shit. Not even a full month of riding and it was R.I.P. not only to my R2.1 but also my over 3 years of saving and waiting to ride. Tried to get a replacement motor and wheels but well.....yeah. Seems those parts are now extinct. So you can imagine you werent popular with me. But its been almost 2 months since the board became useless due to massive defects and me giving up after weeks of searching for parts i could afford since warranty is well.....yeah. Im starting to get used to riding the bus again and cursing your name less. I think its the fact i can see your true passion for the sport , and can appreciate the effort and balls in took to start Enertion. I may have lost a board and a couple grand $. But i have cooled down enough to see it pales in comparision to what you must of lost. Cant say im still not a bit pissed but with every vid I start to see a bit less "Red". So guess i will save up once again and with vids like this possibly somehow Frankenstein my R2.1 back to life one day. Thank you for the vid. And thank you for having the courage to create the sickest Eboard in the world at one point in time. Best ride i ever had....dont tell my girlfriend i said that.

The raptor is made mostly from commonly used DIY parts, pretty simple to fix if you look into it. Electric skateboards, like bikes, will always need ongoing maintenance & repair work done, so you should probably learn how to do it. Or you can pay a repair agent to help you out. Plenty of options.

Not going to get much for less... It's unwise to pay too much, but it's worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money - that's all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do
