A year ago I got the worst call in my life.. my parents called me to tell me that my brother had committed suicide. It tore me apart and I still haven’t recovered from it. My brother was my best friend and without him here I feel so lost. I have tried to keep my head up but it’s so hard. I've said it before but, I'll say it again. This is my favourite song on the Colourvision album, so far. MAX, your lovely voice is beautifully showcased and the MV's simple concept just magnifies that quality and the impact of the barely contained grief you are singing about. Great work, as always.

Took over fulltime, live-in caretaking duty of my mother, when father dropped dead. Two years of mostly agony, and dealing with her pain and misery. She ended up in hospital, then hospice (one night stay, then depart...). This song encapsulates those feelings of "what comes next?"

1:19 This part made me completely break down and reminds me of the morning we found out our step dad died. It’s like this whole song was created as a retelling of our family’s grief. I’m afraid to show this song to my mom because she may break down but this is so beautiful. I’ve never cried for a song before and then just looking into his eyes that look like they understand what I’m truly going through. Just a beautiful work of art. I am so sorry that that happened. It hurts losing someone. I lost a friend this year to cancer he was 12. But God showed his glory through it. I will pray that he shows his glory and comforts y’alls family through those hard times. Again I am so sorry that happened.

He’s underrated AF

My dad passed Jan 29th from brain cancer, he was my world, my best friend, my words of wisdom. My parents would been married 40 yrs Apr 26th. The only man my Mom ever loved. He is at peace now. But not being able to hear his voice other than old voicemails or videos, is the hardest part. Not being able to hug him. I relate to this song so much. It’s like MAX is singing my journal.

The MV is so simple yet so powerful. Just staring at Max's eyes while listening to him singing. And while the lyrics are simple to understand yet it stabs your heart.
