Ricther will be remembered through posterity for writing this masterpiece as the composer of this generation. How will the world look like in a thousand years without this masterpiece?

To pull off an 8 hour non stop concert overnight with such minimalist music while reading it all from a score is a remarkable feat

I was sharing a house with my Mother at the time (now gone unfortunately, both home and Mum), when I accidently tripped over this performance, live. When she got out of bed for the obligatory morning 'cup of tea', she found me frozen to my lounge chair, tears streaming down my face, with one heavenly smile bigger then my face. A truly moving experience.

I so miss the full 8 hour version which, until recently, was available. I've had it on countless times whilst I come and go and work and cook and go shopping and when I come back it's still running. I love watching Grace Davidson's face and the dawn coming up. This is total magic. Thanks to all, especially Max.

Dang! I truly wish sometimes that I didn’t have such flawlessly accurate relative pitch (notice I didn’t say Perfect Pitch. Very VERY few people actually have That). But Unfortunately as well-trained and professional a singer as Miss Grace surely is…. She Sings Consistently FLAT. Most all singers who have problems with pitch-centering have some sort of physical ailment or another. I certainly can’t diagnose what her condition might be (and I wouldn’t want to even if I could) but it’s Something. I still think Max is a genius though.
