It was not a only a game but a masterpiece. was beautifully written and you could actually have empathy with all characters. alone in a modern society, looking for a lost love...sometimes in a haunted nightmare!

Winterson's death really hit me. She was caught up in her love for Vlad who was taking the burden off of raising her blind kid by herself and couldn't choose between being a double agent or being a cop

My beretta stirred nervously under my coat but the train doors had already shut behind me, and I was in for a ride. A great track for rainy new years eve.

They were all dead. The final gunshot was an exclamation mark to everything that had led to this point. I released my finger from the trigger. And then it was all over. The storm seemed to lose its frenzy. The ragged clouds gave way to the stars above.

This is what deep depression sounds like, be really aware, because themes like this, can get under your skin. Though this is a game, it's very real. Pure pitch blackness. This is what this theme is about, depression in it's pure form. Be really aware, because i've been there, and i don't want you or anyone else be there. It's pure sadness in it's pure form. Don't commit suicide, you've gotta outlive your enemies. Time is sacred, use it good, and don't seek shelter from help. Your friends and family, can get you on the right path, though times can seem dark. Stay safe, my sisters and brothers, here on this comment section. I know this don't mean much, but this is what i can say to you. I have dealed with so much fucked up shit, and i want YOU to know, i know how you're feeling. You know what bothers me. Mona Sax appears out of nowhere, Max falls in love with her and she controls him like every move, for no reason. It can only be a dream. Maybe he was stuck on Valkyrie or the Bullet in his head literraly left him hanging in the state of dead

Maybe Max felt the need of filling the gap his wife left in him. He didn't even know it, all he knew that he doesn't feel good. And he wanted that. He wanted a licence to kill, kill every bad man preventing him from getting a peaceful life. But he can't, because his struggle and pain exists in the past. The past is a gaping hole. That's the real tragedy of Max Payne.

This version of the theme gave and still gives me the creepy vibes. holy shit. Max Payne was my introduction into video games, and I love it!

This is one of my favorite game, even the movies played by Mark Wahlberg, it reminds me in the past when I was 13 years old and I always played this game repeatedly Max Payne 1 and 2 but I never been play yet the New Max Payne 3 SOON!!!

Max really has lost everything

he's broken he's shattered within but the most important thing about max he always keeps coming back .

I was 10 years old back then when i first started to play the first part of this epic story. I was feeling scared when playing alone in my dark room, but i felt each scene happened in the whole story especially the deep VO of Max. Thanks Rock Star Games.

Well thanks to remedy because they made these 2 masterpiece Rockstar only published it & i think it was remedy who came up with MAX PAYNE same goes to today that remedy frontely approached for MAX PAYNE 1&2 REMAKES & Rockstar agreed which we have something to refresh our memories.

Remedy made 1 and 2, gathering of devs published the 1st for them. Then remedy was forced to sell the ip to rockstar for financial difficulties. So r* publshed the 2nd for them. Then r* made the 3rd. The voice actor has been same for all 3 games, superb delivery and voice of James Mccaffrey

Reminded me of my college days, when i went to an internet cafe to kill my loneliness, ironically they had a game called Max Payne

Played this game around 8 years old, recently bought it on the series. Time for nostalgia

Max Payne i oynayıp bitireli bu kadar vakit geçmesine rağmen 10-15 yıl sonra insanlar yine gelip burada kendini buluyor. Belki de Max gibi bahtsız bir insanın yaşadığı onca dramaya rağmen azimli olması kalkıp devam etmesi bizi etkiliyordur. Ya da son zamanlarda böyle hikayeli oyunlar çok nadir çıkıyor ondan nostaljik geliyor olabilir.

The flesh of fallen angles

The theme from the first game was good, and original. But this version just totally NAILS the whole "Max Payne story/synopsis/character", for me. This was the comment I posted on another "Max Payne 2 theme" video (6 yrs ago). As I was typing, I was applying it to my own life. I think everything in my life up to this point, symbolizes everything that Max feels throughout the 3 games. Only, I haven't quite really lost anyone through murder.. But the fact that nothing has EVER gone right. The emotional balance is so extraordinarily uneven, in the worst possible way. So, yeah.. I can totally feel Max's pain and the sorrow and depression this song emulates and how low it can make you feel inside. "Life had been good. The sun setting on a warm, summer's day. The smell of freshly mowed grass, the sounds of children playing. A house across the road in a small town. A happy & peaceful vision come true. But visions have a nasty habit of going bad when you're not looking. The sun went down as night started to fall in. Twilight crawled across the sky. But this wasn't my first fall of my life, still.. Only a taste of things to come, still.. A long way to the bottom. The pain wasn't over.. And I was close to breaking point. Past the point of no return.. I try to set myself on the right path. But the more I try, the more each day goes by.. And the sands of my hour glass draining faster and faster. They say time is a great healer, but believing that is a fools game. It felt like mythic wolves let loose to devour the sun and light from the world.. Anguish is the wolf. God is Mr. Beast, the big, bad Fenris wolf and I'm The-End-of-the-World-Man, with only painful memories that won't fade.. "No, no more, please God, no more!", I yelled. I closed my eyes, and for a second I felt home, sweet home. Something in the night felt like a door had been opened, echoes of the past, an old monster snapping its eyes open in the depths of my brain. Closing your eyes only forces you to look at the darkness inside. A bomb went off in my head. The bullet lodged in my brain moved a fatal, microscopic distance, wishing it would just put me out of my misery."

Life's misery strangled to us. Every time and over and over again we chasing to our end. That thought is saddest than deaths itself. Life is too short for happiness reflection to the our life.
