What if you kill the asylum demon then quit out right as you kill him, this makes the game think the boss is dead when he actually isnt, that means you kill him more than once, doing this, you get 3000 souls every time, you should choose sorcerer or pyromancer though to make the glitch work

I assumed MuhDryBread rules. No Glitches or Exploits, no items in combat, and you can only use Sorcerer. As you can see from its stats, this is gonna take FOREVER

ive put thousands of hours into ds1 and i had no idea it capped at ng+6. ive never gone past ng+3 without starting a new build and just took it on faith

This challenge cannot be done by a human, only if he is a hollow maybe. But this is almost the perfect task for an A.I. together with a speed up game!!!

I feel like it would be quicker to just soul arrow the closest enemies and then run back to the bonfire. Going to longsword guy takes so much time in running.

@@hex_gekko29568 what closest enemies? there's the two (maybe three? I forget) enemies back down from the ladder but that would probably be a worse way to gain money. There's the one on the stairs but doing a run for only 20 souls wouldn't be very efficient, at that point might as well run to the three hollows just an alley ahead and once you kill them, why not just take an extra 10 seconds and kill the sword guy who gives you as many souls as all 4 previous enemies combined.

The Longshore guy doubles the soul gain for hardly any time loss. You would have to be able to kill the stair hollow more than 8 times in under a minute which i don't think you can do.

This could be a challenge to pass along to your descendants

I actually believe someone will do this challenge. In like 200 years when we achieve immortality and that kind of stuff someone will do this to get some serious clout!

Small correction: at 9:40 you added an extra 0 in 17,820,000. Great video btw.

The NG+6 one sounds like someone would do it (with upgraded weapons)

Question. Would leaving the asylum beating the game at sl1 to make it ng+6 void the challenge if you empty inventory?

I mean, with the soul duplication glitch you could just leave with the soul and use that once you spend your souls. It's effectively the same as selling the built up loot.

When you finish you playtrugh your repair box and upgrade box are removed so in the assylum you won't have them. but you could attune repair sorcery and keep your upgraded weapons repaired indefinitelly

The Emmarel bit might be the funniest thing I've seen this week, and that's after binging old Zero Punctuation vids so I'd say it's a 10/good joke

Now I'm wondering what the math would like for reaching max level in Nioh 2 in the first level, since the cost to level up in the later difficulties can cost literal billions.

Pre-video comment, you can actually cut the time by alot because you can stop when the sales of the items you have collected will make up for the difference in souls.

oh that answers that question i had i thought while you lv up you would do more dmg killing faster and being able to sprint longer but i had no idea you could not level in that area never tried

If immortality is ever achieved, then grinding to max level in Dark Souls will probably be someone's pet project after living for 6000 years and not having anything better to do.

About ng+ thing. Maybe people count ng+s starting by ng+2, so the number of playthroughs would match with ng number

5:08 hi, way far from the future. I think this is in reference to your starting class. As in choosing one optimized for the longsword damage scaling. This means no more 713 but idk to me that’s still a max level character. (3 levels doesn’t change much at that point)

did you take into account serpent's ring for the NG+ calcs?

On the ng+6 could start get repair as a spell. So possible without gear grabbing. But how often you would need to repair?

So funny enough, that soul duping glitch is much more powerful. 999 souls items at once. You need to have 999 of some type of item like bolts or arrows to do it. Also the Bottomless Box. But the option is there (not in the Asylum of course). Doing that glitch and playing through the game, I was able to reach max level with twenty-five hours of gameplay. The character is in the middle of NG+4. I'm not here to prove you wrong or anything. I'm just sharing what I know. This was a fun video to listen to. Also never thought of how impossible leveling up that way would be. XD

Yeah I'm aware it goes up to 99, but since we can't get a stack of 999 items in the asylum, it's not considered for this challenge.

Feno, I can't find the comment that you replied to me just now, so I'm just gonna write a new comment. Yes, indeed, 18.29 / 0.33 is 55.42, but it's my fault as I wasn't explaining it right. This is not an accurate answer because when you do this, you leave 0.01 out because 0.33 + 0.33 + 0.33 = 0.99. This gives you a close answer in little numbers, although not an accurate one, and you can see this when reaching high results like the big difference between 54.87 and 55.42. What you should have done is this: 18.29 / 0.3333333333333333 to get a more accurate result. Or you know, just multiply by 3 which gives you the most accurate result. Just a nitpick, loved the video Feno! :)

I imagine one day someone will write a bot to actually do that especially if they can find a way to speed the game up for it significantly but the closest thing I could feasibly do is write a macros to farm the wyvern bridge and run that for a year straight and even then I'd also have to go through the contortion of emulating the console version of the game just to be able to speed up the emulator to speed up the game so I'd actually be done within a year of running in the background
