Why should they strip him when he was injured? That's why there is an interim title 😅, all these newbies wanting to ride Tom is ridiculous he's only faced 1 through contender...people saying JJ is scared probably forgets the list of pure killers he's fought....

The interim title should NOT have been made for Tom to fight for until he had a potential fight already lined up with Jones. The interim should be silver not gold!!

No why should he be stripped? The only reason they created a interim belt is bc they knew Jones would never defend against either Aspinall or pavolvich point blank period

The right thing to do would be to strip John of his title. Why was Conor stripped of his title at the time? There's some kind of injustice here

@@andymitchell362 lol firstly Jon hasn’t taken 40 years, it’s only been around a year since he became champion secondly I actually agree with you that he should fight someone asap or he should get stripped soon I was just explaining to the other guy that what happened with McGregor wasn’t injustice as jones has only taken a year off so far and he’s only holding up one division which btw in my option needs more action and fights because it’s looking very murky, also the fact that Connor held up 2 divisions and jones is holding up one, also one hasn’t lost and the other has, another thing to consider is that jones has been in the game longer. But if we were to talk about jones alone I do believe he should fight this year if not be stripped, I was just trying to show the other guy that what’s happening isn’t injustice.

Jon got a belt from Gane who lost to the real champ Francis. Tom got a belt from beating the number one conteder. And is about to defend it before jon. Now tell me who's got the real belt?

False equivalency, Dan. Conor was stripped because he chose to box instead of defend the belt, Jon got hurt while training for the fight he is coming back to finish. Big difference.

The jones stipe fight should be boycotted by the fans there’s no reason why he shouldn’t be fighting Tom and I say this as a lifetime jon jones fan so I’m not saying this as a Tom Aspinal fan it’s just the right thing to do

I feel as if Tom having the interim belt hurts his chances of getting what he wants. Take it away, it pushes the issue. Potentially gets him the Jones fight way faster.

Second, for those who compare Jon Jones to Conor McGregor, seriously? Just the title defences Jon Jones has had, should’ve stopped anyone who had that thought. I agree with Chael Sonnen, as Jones is deemed ready to fight, the interim belt becomes obsolete. There is one champion, the greatest fighter of all time, who in reality has never lost to another fighter, Jon, “Bones”, Jones.

Yes and no.. bonus wise and ppv definetly but he hasnt had that many fights in ufc so he will be on his first contract.. sean said as a champ he was getting 200k show 200k win so i dont think his contract wil be that lucritive

@bbx7363 No way he came over on the regular first contract with his resume. Plus you have to account for endorsements and so forth. He was a very big deal in kickboxing. That has to be worth something.

@@Brad-cb5sy theres a reason so many fighters and champs compain about money. 16 percent of ufcs revenue goes to the fighters hence the law suits. If you think ufc is paying lucrative your loosing the plot. Anthony had 25 fights in ufc, alex has 7. Anthony has definetly made more then alex in the ufc.
