His pitching stood out to me the most as well. Tons of movement. The other tree sized dude tossing 97s.

This at the MAX in Illinois near chicago I used to train there Top Tier from 12-17 Team DeMarini 18u played at USA tournament in Florida and played in most US states. Made a diving play in center field of Vanderbilt University’s stadium in front of a bunch of scouts. Went 1-3 that game & led off. Walked on at my university in California but my head coach cut me. I wish I had more support and direction at that time because I could have pushed and stayed on the team but I wasn’t in love w the game at that time and had no supervision. So the memories are what I hold and the fact that I played with the best of my peers as long as I did. Shortest player on the field 99.9% of the time haha.

I wish max a lot of luck. The hype around him reminds me of Harper from my era, I played pro ball for 7 years and know what’s coming for max. If it’s D1 then he gets more time to develop, if it’s the draft then he will be young and thrown to the wolves a little bit where he will face the best in the world everyday until he adjusts to the very big jump in talent in pro ball. Enjoy the ride brother it’s a lot of fun!

Hey man I love your videos but what advice can you give to me. I’m 13 and am on the small side definitely I’m barley 4,11 but I bat lead off for my travel team and my school team. Im usually the starting shortstop I just lack confidence and I’m not sure I’m big enough to compete a and play at the next level

@@Lampfn I was the same as you, just put your head down and show coaches you work hard. Size will come as you get older. Just eat as much as you can. I was 5’2 at 13 which is still small and now I’m 6’1” as a Sophomore.

@@Lampfn dawg if you are 13 and 4’11 you need to work on getting fast and being able to hit before you get in the gym you still have a lot of time to start getting in the gym so make sure your speed is priority as a smaller guy to insure that in the next level you can beat out ground balls and bunts if they need you to
