Lol I mean the criticism is justified if jaylen brown doesn't hit that three to save them Tatum would've been the reason they lost in clutch time bro missed 2 to 3 shots in a row to give the Celtics the lead/tie. He saved it in the second half of overtime but to act like he had a perfectly good game with no alarming actions in the game is a bit wild to think. For example that offensive rebound they got with 15 secs left all for Tatum to instantly run backwards and shoot a contested fading shot 2 to miss pretty bad when they didn't need to shoot instantly was a bad call on Tatum. Jaylen was the one who caused the turnover and also hit the clutch three right after. Just bc Tatum had 36 and 12 doesn't mean he had a perfect game with no problems therefore people have every right to criticize him.

It's because of therevawful playoff hone record. You can't always trust Boston when it matters most. If Tatum is a superstar he needs to close better in the 4th. Get some defensive stops as well. If the Celtics don't get it done this year there window starts closing with the current team how it's constructed. You win 64 games no excuses now. Also pacers gagged the game away and Tatum let the game slip away invthec4th. He's not clutch sometimes when he needs to be.

You can say Ant has had harder competition or you can say Tatum has not had to be at his best. Ant is getting so overhyped this playoffs. Tatum is far from a perfect player, but he's better than Ant to this point.

Boston is deeper than Minnesota and Dallas which has been considered their strengths throughout these playoffs. Jaylen B has been just as if not more consistent these playoffs than Kyrie and Kat. Tatum I admit may be a question mark but have we forgotten Tatum’s playoff moments over the past few years. He lost his last to playoff series due to injury by doing too much on offense.
