The riddims these days seem to lack something its not the same explosive energy as it used to be for the most part, too dialed down. 1999 and 2008 were when it peaked in my opinion.

@@user-rf1sc2rt2c Exactly. They are no longer gravitating. I think it's a change of producers who have strayed from the original root of dancehall rhythms. There is no longer that hook that even if the song is foolishness, the rhythm is that powerful to endorse it, to influence people to listen to it nevertheless.
