Came to the comments to say the same thing lol
It's incredible how Lydia has grown as a player since the premiere of this channel, just the funniest commitment to the character and best improvs.
Tom's accent range has really expanded. Loving this little honey heist, the characters really shine, and everyone's chemistry is on point .
I live in fear that one day Tom won't ask if this is a mystery quest and that it's actually all real

Are you having an existential crisis or....are you on a Mystery Quest?

@@normtrooper4392 That would be a hilarious mental breakdown. You start the new episode, and the intro is just Tom listing all the things wrong with you and finishing with your comment.
I LOVE Eduardo. Lydia's role play and comedy is fantastic. The constant parade of slightly different aghast noises every time Briony said no food was golden. And then Eduardo's ridiculous stories. Lewis is also so beautifully committed to the bit of the incompetent prince! Perfection.

This will be good, and can i just say that Reepicheep is the name of the mouse Warwick Davis played in the Chronicles of Narnia series on the BBC in the 80s

Yes! I think I remember from the books that he has a line when he falls off a boat and tastes the water "Sweet! It's sweet!" which is apt for this adventure.

@@Ali-ey9sz Oh, I think you may be talking about how the sweet sea is at the world's edge, and everyone on the Dawn Treader was a little concerned they'd all die when they sail off, but I don't think they died. could be wrong, since it's been maybe 9 years since I read those books. I found the quote though “Sweet!” he cheeped. “Sweet, sweet!” ... “I tell you the water’s sweet,” said the Mouse. “Sweet, fresh. It isn’t salt.”

@@Ali-ey9sz At the end of the story he sails into "Aslan's Country" so technically he doesn't die. However since Aslan's Country is an analogy for the Kingdom of Heaven it could be considered that he is dead since he is no longer in the world of Narnia where the living are but instead is in Aslan's Country where people are said to go after death.
Getting such Professor Lockheart vibes from Lydia. 😂 amazing acting
You may remember me from the moon landing
Always love Lewis's characters, he plays them really well.

I love Lewis' total lack of ego. He is totally willing to go with whatever happens to make the best story. His character in the Call of Cthulu where they were a tv media crew comes to mind as a great example.

This is why Lewis is a great player, he doesn't meta game and is willingly to create setups for payoffs later.

The slow zoom and dramatic violins during that bit killed me
The sound work on these have gotten so good!!! It really improves immersion
Just finished the last episode. Also really funny seeing the difference in Lewis’ character this game compared to the major!
As a fan of Mystery Quest it's so fun to see Lydia channel Archie, the brother of her Call of Cthulhu character
Gotta say, very very glad briony is here for this. Doing a mouse campaign simply wouldn't be right wothout her haha. This brings me right back to reading Redfall as a kid!
I imagine this adventure being adapted into a delightfully whimsical series with real animals filmed in tiny locations, like "Tales from the Riverbank."
Lydia has gotten soooo good at roleplay it's insane.
That Ravs' roll when leaving the crone was great :D And Eduardo going Zapp Brannigan strat as well lol And the slow zoom on the Prince while he is giving his awkward monologue. What an episode this one has been.
I can't belive I missed this yesterday! What the hell! *This is a comment, for the Angorythm.*
I feel like ravs is really coming into his own as a roleplayer
I know Brother Glasse is a mouse, but I can’t help picturing Rattigan from The Great Mouse Detective.
I LOVE Hazel. Wholesome kleptomaniac mousegirl. I was so worried when she drank the purple drank.
So refreshing, I love every single game you run, Tom. Great work managing such strong personalities while still letting them all shine. You have been and still are a great inspiration to me. Keep up the good work, for it is so very good.
I don't know why this particular series of Mystery Quest really takes hold of my imagination, but it does!
I am just dying, this is so funny! Everyone is so talented.
The Gelatinous cube was from Yogsquest right? The one with Lewis as the DM, The dwarf brute Simon, The gnome wizard Duncan, Sips the lady musician Orc and rat dad (RIP)... Many owl products were bought that day, great memories from my childhood thanks to the Yogs crew. To any newer fans who haven't seen those videos of the older yogsquests I would say firstly *understand who is in them before deciding to watch* but if you like the mystery quest videos you may also really enjoy those old Yogsquest videos too!
its so great when you can see when tom both LOVES an idea, and HATES it at the same time, but KNOWS it will make for good content lol... moon cheese??!?!?!? yeah, lets roll with it!
I still can't believe they got THEE little Lewis for this!
I have to say, this is probably my favourite campaign so far! I can't wait for mooore!
Oh yeah this is the good stuff.
Fantastic roleplaying and GM:ing, can't wait for the next one! *edit: Misspelled Roleplaying
Really loving all the varied content
Ok, the game about cute, antropomorphic mice certainly was not the one I expected to get steamiest but here we are.
Mausritter seems like a great TTRPG. Love the series Tom!
This music is top tier, reminds me of Hades : )
Best Bee impressions ever Tom. Loving this qwerky adventure.
This must be happening at the same time as Wallace & Gromit: Wrong trousers, because what else would cause the rise of moon cheese shares.
great stuff. ravs and especially lydia are getting to be really good roleplayers
great episode i really enjoy how much control each of the players have over the game!
This is just such a good group for this session. Great work as usual Tom. You are my favorite member of the Yogs for a reason
29:45 it's 4:15am i'm falling asleep... and i hear lewis in a singsong child's voice talking about switching clothes,, "like me and nanny do sometimes." and i'm like awake and cracking up
I’m loving this campaign so far!
This is just the best channel on YT
Just finished part one! Just in time! 🐭
I love, love, love this presentation. Is this wickedly innocent, or the the other way round?
Eaten by a giant gelatinous slime worst way to go
The editing had me rolling
Loved it. Just silly fun. In a Redwall style
Took me longer than normal to get through these. Thanks for the story old buddy. Maybe it's just the summer Heat giving me a light headache that makes me slightly harder to listen to it I don't know. Can't wait to see how they all die horribly in the hive.
