    If you are teaching about art and architecture of mauryan pillar please mention about vaishali pillar its the only complete asokan pillar left and from this pillar we get to know about erection technique. Metion about the various material used to erect that pillar. used to fix on a copper bolt. (socket in shaft) also mention about Rampurva bull pillar kept in front of Rashtrapati Bhavan

    Stupa did not originate in vedic period. Riga Vedic period do not mention any where about building construction. ILater in Dharmasastras like Baudhayana, Apastamba and Baudhāyana there is mention about how to build fire alters. Construction of Stupas and buildins are absent in early and later Vedic period literature.
