Mauryans were Kshatriyas, they arrived after Lord Buddha's Parinirvana to take away relics, but as the other Kshatriayas have already taken them away, got ash from the site and built Angara chaitya. Mauryans were a division of Sakyans who lived in Pippali Wana and got their name after their city Moriya Nagara.Sakyans were direct descendants of Mahasammata Manu, Mandhata, Sagara, Dasaratha and Lord Rama. These things are very clearly documented in Buddhist text.

If this is your source then stop preparing , mauryan origin is not know as some say as mentioned in vedio which is bs , in reality mauryan were from bharmin warrior clan and today we are put in bc but in reality frm one generation to other we still know some part story within our genetic structure ot say marriage and parampara , they were either kashtriya or mix of bhar min kastriye vansh ,as uska .
