Nice video. I've been to Mauritius 3 times and loved it. When we went to Black River Gorge National Park, Alexandra Falls, Seven Coloured Earth and Chamarel Waterfalls it rained every time we visited there but place is amazing. Went to Grand Bassin as well and also Trou Aux Cerfs. We went to Iles des Cerfs via the catamaran and that place is awesome. Le Morne Brabant was a great place to see. Casela National Park is a must-see attraction, However, I would like to add other places not mentioned in the video: Go to Iles deux Cocos Island - it is beautiful Go to South Mauritius and explore Le Vanille National Park, Gris Gris cliffs, Les 7 Cascades waterfalls. In North Mauritius, visit Port Louis (and check out Fort Adelaide, Cauden Waterfront, Jummah Mosque), see Pamplemousse Botanical Gardens, visit Grand Baie, Perybere and Trou Aux Biches. In West Mauritius, visit Flic-en-Flac beach and also see Tamarin Bay. We stayed in Flic-en-Flac twice because you will get the best sunset there and beach is nice

Hello John, we have only spent much time in Port Louis on a couple of occasions - both for horse racing! Overall it's safe but we were warned against pickpockets. As it's an island, the crime rates are low. Have a good time

A beautiful island, I am lucky enough to have been (through work and holidays) many times over thirty years. It has changed, though, not least with the amount of all-inclusive hotels and increasing numbers of east Europeans who go there - they, simply, have no idea how to behave, believe dressing for dinner is to wear a football shirt & bright white trainers and pile their plates up with more food than could ever be eaten by a normal person. One hotel in Balaclava is more like downtown Warsaw than the Indian Ocean. As such, avoid all-inclusive hotels - if you can afford it, go to a 'pay as you go' establishment or better still, rent a flat
