I knew he did not have children. I suspected, by how deeply he pays attention to kids' inner lives. ;) Parents rarely do that. And the interviewer is not paying full attention to his guest. I hate it when they ask a question but don't allow the guest to keep answering. They cut them off with a new question. ugh

I really like his perspective on how we do children an injustice by patronizing them. Often I notice how children in more "primitive" cultures are more mature, more capable, more well adjusted at a younger age to the life they are going to face as adults.

Is it Maurice Sendak in 1993?

Normally I don't mind Charlie Rose's interviews, but boy he just bothered me with this one. He's just not doing a great job here.
