@@omarasfari4974 They didn't. All these tanks were busted at one point or another. All the tanks had complaints against them. Whichever tank is Meta and played the most is going to get complained about. Zarya (OW1.0 character) was meta day one of OW2 and everyone complained about it.

@@prestonmitchell9135 I'm a Rein main. He got flack for his shield during GOATs and it was nerfed, they nerfed his shatter because it was free unless there was another Rein to block it. They complained about how Rein sucks you in while pinning and the damage. They nerfed the damage. Rein is probably one of the most balanced characters in the game but people still complain when he's meta as well.

Gotta love when you roll the junkerqueen at the start of the game with hog, and they immediately swap to mauga. That isn't working? Guess orisa will have to do :') your dps were struggling that game though, honestly surprised a win came from it

Hog: needs really good hook aim ( aiming in general), good game sence with good rotation and is only good in certain maps (requires a lot of skill in general) Mauga: shot the tank.... 😐

Mauga still destroys period. not much has changed other than the players falsely thinking he got super nerfed to oblivion based on YTers pretending that from minor defensive nerfs. his bastion like offense built into a mobile tank was untouched. the only balancing factor is not everyone can aim well or wants to play him, on top of people thinking he sux now, so he's not played as much as before. He still sux to deal with for most of the player base. Blizzard is just dumb putting in characters that require everyone to fight out of LOS which makes it unfun for most players who want to play without having to switch to counter. At this point i just think Blizzard is a crap company with scabs tho.

The matchup is up to your supports tbh, the first half of the game cyx destroyed mauga because the kiri was making sure to headshot him when he hit hog and suzu hog, the 1v1 itself is hard but is not unplayable, the other tank can be bad and all, but at the end of the day hog can hook mauga pretty easily behind his team and there is nothing mauga can do about it except doing dmg, like imagine if you play mauga against a hog that hooks you behind a wall, the supports of the hog are helping him meanwhile the supports of the mauga cant because he got isolated of his team, as mauga in that situation you cant do nothing about it, and then this was a matchup in favour of mauga, which was still hard for mauga to get value off, imagine playing against a tank that plays sigma or rammatra well, your matchup as mauga is unplayable if the team of the enemy tank plays around you with its suppports, mauga doesnt has anything besides dmg and tankiness with its dash, he cant block headshots or antinades with a shield or a suck and cant secure a kill if the supports are alive because every squishie besides bastion and torb have small hitboxes, the only good thing about mauga that make him a strong character is his ult, but of course your ult can just be countered by a trascendence, a bap window, a kitsune, even by just a lot of dmg to break it like bastion or soldier can just shoot your cage and make it pretty useless, so thats why mauga is trash, unless you play winston or wrecking ball is basically the same for every tank who has the better supports

@@germanluque9756 nah the thing that makes him strong is his damage in relation to survivability. you're talking about CD's w/ specific characters to counter his regular dps. the dps would sort of be fine if he were a glass cannon like bastion but he's not easy to kill without a big team effort. how many characters can you say killing takes a whole team effort on top of leading the damage in most games? dont get me wrong bad aimers can be awful Maugas but a good one can be dominating. when Cyx goes Mauga he destroys stuff easier than he does on RH. even after nerf. but to me the most important thing about it is most players do not enjoy having to hide behind LOS gameplay on their characters where they cant do much or get shredded. thats always been the issue with bastion since forever where there's always been a sentiment of using him being lame. just like how Mauga was portrayed. so clearly the players in general have issues with that type of character design that ruins the effectiveness of playing their character considerably. a good example is watching Cyx hiding behind a pole for half of the game because if he walks in los he's dead in 2 secs. nobody likes that shit. it's crazy that Blizzard didn't realize that after Bastion.

I mean, hog also makes a lot of characters' lives hard. Mauga is the only one that has an advantage against hog in a 1v1.

@@Joem2648 Hook stops her axe which is her biggest burst damage that provides the most self sustain. Hog also theoretically outdps her when it comes to primary fire dps. But Queen does have a smaller hitbox so I'd argue no one has a clear advantage in 1v1.

JQ, Ram, Orisa, DVa and Sigma can win against hog, but having a good support lineup is the most important thing.

the title of this video is "Mauga still DESTROYS Roadhog", not "Mauga is still BROKEN". Never stated that Mauga is broken. The only matchup where he is pretty strong, is versus Hog. But maybe that's just cope from me again :)
