It’s too bad a fan of the piece didn’t find it and enjoy it themselves. Someone donated it to be enjoyed by someone who wouldn’t have to pay an arm and a leg. It’s really sad that rare art can only be seen by the wealthy other then in galleries. Of course it would be different if Maud was still alive and was selling it herself. Artist deserve to be rewarded for their skills time etc.

Sad truth is someone who knew what it was would buy it, then turn around and sell it for personal gain.

A tiny, disabled woman with a degenerative arthritic condition with twisted hands and fingers painted these works. What a joyful person and great talent.
