I just visited the Art gallery today and saw the house in person. I was deeply touched from what I saw. It was so natural and modest and real just as if Maud was still living there! I was checking every item: the paint brush, her bed/bench, the stairs. When I saw the teapot on the stove, I imagined her getting up to make herself a cup of tea, and suddenly tears started to run down my cheek. This has never happened to me before! Maybe the French music in the background played a part, but I felt a personal connection with her. I shed tears more than I wish to confess, but it went on and off for hours! It was an unbelievable profound experience. I love you so much, Maud

Maudie is a beautiful and heartfelt movie. The actor and actress are both wonderful. I could not express how much I love this movie.

I love the movie and had never heard of Maud before. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and can not imagine how much pain she must have been in without medications. I admire her positive attitude despite her illness and disability. What a inspiration.

I cannot thank you enough for sharing this. I would never have been able to see this exhibit had it not been for you posting this. I cannot express what this beautiful video means to me and to know that Maud's little house is safely cherished inside the museum gives me such joy. I pray she knows the impact she has had on us all. She is an epic model of humility and hope.

I just finished the movie in Netflix. I cried. Seeing the real house is so touching. How many moments She and her husband spent there.

The movie is so precious and its lovely to see that Everett is seen as an Important Part in Mauds rise as an known artist. Until now I'm so sad that he got murdered...although he was a man with edges, Maud was so empathic that his soft side has shown through. They were soulmates and It's beautiful to witness what luck they had in finding eachother. Beautiful what Love can achieve

I watched the movie and her sweet face at the end brought me to tears…I really do hope she felt loved and knew true happiness…Thank You so much for posting this…I’ll probably never get to go

I saw the movie not long ago. Sally Hawkins’ performance was spectacular, and moving throughout. The movie was sad, beautiful, moving and perhaps a little disturbing, sometimes all at once. The Artist portrayed by Hawkins, Maud Lewis, is a true treasure. Iam so happy that the house is being preserved.

I love her artwork so much. So colourful and playful. I feel happy just looking at them. Then to know the obstacles in her life. What a strong individual. I didn't realize just how tiny Maud was from a picture I saw of her in front of her home. This house is so small. I really appreciate whoever did this video. Allowing the viewer to look leisurely.

Gestern Abend lief Maudie im Fernsehen. Der Film war sehr schön. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Trotz des einfachen und bescheidenes Leben, war sie glücklich. Und ihre Krankheit war sehr stark ausgeprägt. Dennoch war sie glücklich. In jedem ihrer Bilder kam man es sehen. Ein toller Mensch. Sehr schöne Bilder die sie gemalt hat. Von ihr, können wir Menschen noch so viel lernen. 🥰🙏🏼

I was there, in Marshalltown, the day they loaded Maud's little house on a flatbed, headed to Halifax. I took photos, as editor of the Digby Courier, and I felt a pain in my heart for this sweet woman who suffered so much and would never know the heights of her eventual popularity. I met people with hoards of her paintings, laughing and proud they bought them for 50 cents years earlier, and now they were beyond value. And I thought of how she should have been the one to have benefitted, at least financially, from her talent, tenacity and will to go on. Love you Maudie.

No problem. I wish I was allowed to walk inside, but the exhibit is open enough to provide a decent perspective of the house. It's definitely worth a visit if you're interested in the artist and her home.

J'adore et éprouve un sentiment de de tendresse pour cette femme artiste si spontanée , naturelle et naïve dans son style créatif . Dommage que cette musique absente n'ajute pas une note de poésie qui lui conviendrait si parfaitement .Le bruit de fond est insupportable donc je conseillerais de supprimer le son stressant pour son visionnage . Merci pour Maud qui devait tant aimer le chant des oiseaux .
