A hike to the Mau Mau caves in Kenya on the lower slopes of Mount Kenya. The Mau Mau rebelion against British rule was brutal on both sides. The Mau Mau fighters had a hideout in the caves here. and are said to have planned their raids from here. When the British learned of this, they bombed the caves so theres not much left of the caves today.
It's a nice little loop hike, the trickiest part is the unmaintained suspension bridge.
