Started Michelle’s recommendations about a month ago. Just turned 66 last week. My skincare before was slim and none. My skin has improved beyond my wildest dreams! Michelle, I am a 71 year old woman with combination to oily skin. I’m very proud of the way my face looks overall. I do not look 71 years old until you get to my neck. I took your advice and got both LaRoche Posay moisturizers. I have been using moisturizer on my face for years but I never could find one that really knocked my socks off. I also had never double cleansed my face I just simply used my philosophy made simple cleanser and carried on from there. Now I still take my makeup off with the Philosophy cleanser but now I finish off with my Laroche Posay foaming cleanser for oily skin. Then I put on the Laroche moisturizer and my skin feels fantastic. Even when I wake up the next morning it still feels so good. During the daytime I use the Laroche moisturizer with sunscreen in it and I’m going to go back and get the Laroche sunscreen because you said that the 35 is not enough. Thank you for giving such great advice to more mature women. You are honest and you give such great advice. I really enjoy your videos. If I wasn’t already with another Seint artist I would use you but she’s also quite good. Thank you for everything. By the way, I also live in North Carolina. I live about an hour and a half north west of you in the foothills of our beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. I live in Wilkes County.

I just watched a year late. But I absolutely love you. You give me hope. I just started in the last year try to remember to take care of my skin. I’m still a little afraid I have waited to long. Oh my goodness!! I’m soooo about this video! This is amazing! I’m 36 and have been using retinol since 2020 and just started using tretinoin 0.1 cream recently! That snail mucin brand is a game changer!! Love it! I was curious. I’ve on and off used the la roche posay vitamin c serum and was wondering if that was okay to do the morning after using tretinoin at night? Or should I dial it back using it one or two mornings a week? I just purchased the peach and lily lactic acid serum on nights I don’t want to use tretinoin. Very nice and soothing! Thanks for these tutorials. I have always had flawless English rose skin, and then menopause hit and I now have slight rosacea, my skin is dry, I am allergic to everything.....I never wore makeup growing up, just a light lip and mascara. Sigh. Hoping I can find some products that don't cause breakouts!!!

YOu are so refreshing. I can sometimes be allergic to mold but trying the snail mucin anyways. For under 20 bucks, I can give it away if I have a reaction. Might be worth it lol. I swear by putting on a little vaseline at night. Aquaphor on my lips too. Vitamin C serums + red light therapy helped dark sots so much for me. I only really have one and it lightened so much. I love eminence skin products, it definitely does the job! I have found however that at 52 I’ve actually reduced the amount of actives I use on my skin. Keep in mind I’m an esthetician of 20 plus years. I do not use tretinoin but I do use a retinaldehyde a few times a week. I also do not use a scrub but instead once a week I use a bromelain/papain enzyme mask which gently exfoliates. I appreciate you doing this because so many mature woman do not have a basic skin care routine. I always advise a cleanse, essence, moisturizer and sunscreen for newbies and slowly add in serums etc. I was also wondering if you include any facial massage techniques into your skincare routine? Or any modalities? I have been loving Christine Beyer here on KZread, she has very simple follow along massage routines for anything from jowls to lymph drainage in the face and neck. Again, thank you for the education! 😉

Love all your recommendations for am/ pm skincare. Just a heads up on sunscreen. I ordered the Korean sunscreen…….beauty of Josie….. I don’t see zinc in the sunscreen. My dermatologist has told me zinc was a must in sun screens.

Thank you Michelle. I got everything but somehow I missed the snail mucin. It’s coming and I am waiting on the sunscreen. I ordered it from the link in the video. I am still using my old sunscreen while waiting for it to come. I have my cheat sheet on the inside of my medicine cabinet ❤️

Yes I love oily skin recommendations too! I’m 48 and thought I’d start getting dry but I seem to be getting oilier lol. But yes I try to remind myself that I’ll have less wrinkles….my mom is 85 and has zero wrinkles!

You are one smart amazing lady!! I’m 71 and have been double cleansing and exfoliating for years and I have to say it’s a MIRACLE. I LOVE MY SKIN!! I also don’t do fillers lifts etc I only use Trentinoin since my 30s plus I’m blessed with my grandmothers skin. She was 87 with a bit of sagging jawline and smile lines around her eyes. Wow, loved this video! Thank you so so much. My question is, is there anything specific I can use for undereye? I have had two years of severe post partum depression and totally neglected my skin. Really bad. I also continually rubbed my tired eyes a lot. I feel old for the first time in my life. I'm 42 now. My undereyes need help. Oh and I'm on a budget!

Hi Michelle, I love your videos. I’m in Oz so not all products are available here (Seint is everywhere on social media and can’t get it here - so frustrating). But you have inspired me to get interested in makeup again and to look after my skin more seriously. I am in my 40’s. Thank you. ❤ A couple of questions. Snail mucin - did you get any slight tingly or redness initially? I’ve just started using it and I feel more sensitive so not sure if I am allergic or not but couldn’t find much on skin adaptation to it? I do have sensitive skin and mild rosacea. Alternatives Seint: do you know of any cream makeup alternatives available in Oz? I’ve searched and searched and not finding anything. Finally: I’d love to see you do a skincare and makeup morning routine (10-15min) quick look for those mornings we are all in a rush but still need to get put together. I think most of it is. I’m no longer solely a clean artist, I’ve learned too much about the clean industry. But most of this is Korean or Beautycounter and thats all clean

I only use Korean sunscreens because they have the best SPFs that are like moisturizers. Beauty of Joseon is the best.

Do you find the La Roach Posay moisturizer works well with Seint makeup? I have been iseing that for years and I’m brand new to Seint. I was told to avoid silicone products. As best as I can tell there is a Silicone ingredient in the moisturizer so wondering if i should try another moisturizer.

Which primer do you recommend that wouldn’t worsen rosacea? I’ve had a really hard time finding one that doesn’t make it worse so I don’t usually wear one. I did try the L’Oréal and it did a number on my nose.

What’s the difference between chemical and mineral spf and which do you like best for everyday (I don’t wear makeup everyday), and also for under makeup?

Oh gosh, I've never heard of C at night, that's usually for retinoids.

I wear night moisturizer in the a.m , makes me feel like a rebel! Lol. I use niacinamide toner. Can I use this first, under CosRx, inside of damp splash of water? Love u. Love your knowledge. Love your dedication to us mature gals!

Yes, you can use your toner first because the Mucine is thicker we always layer in order of thickness

How does Seint makeup sit on your face with all the moisturizing? Do you use a primer too?

The snail mucin essence was one of the 1st skincare products I purchased when I started my skincare journey. Pulled it back out a few days ago and still loving it. I was told to apply it right before my moisturizer?

Yes, immediately after washing or splashing your face, mucin, then moisture and get ready for bouncy plump skin!!!!

It’s not that I wasn’t happy with them, I just stopped using it over summer and never went back to it because it caused so much irritation but this new company‘s formula has caused zero irritation and I use it three nights a week. I get a few little flakes here and there but no red irritation

I love your videos❤️ I want to get the cosrx snail 96 power essence so bad, but i just heard for the first time ever in this video that having a mold or mildew allergy could cause a reaction...I still want to try it so bad even though I am allergic to mold/mildew. When my boys were young, I would try taking a bubble bath in peace. One day they kept interrupting my Calgon moment. I pulled out the Borghese green mask and pulled back the shower curtain. Lol. I will never forget the look on their faces!

I don't believe anything. You need to be careful of acids with eczema but this is a question for your dermatologist

May I ask, do you have filler in your cheeks, botox, etc? Would like your opinion on this as I'm considering botox on my forehead. Thank you!
