Didn’t really follow this guy until recently I always thought he was riding off his dads name. It only took 1 fight and listening to him speak for the first time to realise this kid is his own man. Still early days but I think he is going to go a long way. Full respect ✊ turning out to be one of my favourite boxers

It's better when an experienced sportsman (Matty) who's risen up through the ranks talk to another rising sportsman. There's understanding.

When you get an interviewer that just gets it. Awesome interview Matty. We caught a glimps of what it takes to be a future boxing great.

australian boxing has been crap for soooooo many years. Timmy has made me excited to watch boxing in Australia again. Love to watch him share the ring with Canelo one day. be patient young fella and learn your craft before you jump in with the sharks but you have a huge future!!!!

That's because Aussies worship sports like footy, cricket, golf, or tennis more than combat sports such as boxing, MMA, etc.

Big Fan of Kosta in the 90s, never forget how he made ' Zeb Juda '' do the hippy hippy shake wobble, now im a Fan of Son Tim & i know he will make his parents proud and also an Asset for Australian Boxing...

who is Matty Johns?

He looks very Kazakh, like a less established GGG... He looks as Turkic as genetics get really. Wonder how much of his genetic makeup is of Turkic heritage. A generic Asian, generally tends to have slanted eyes from cheeks lifted higher. A Turkic, (which also has generic Russians fall under the category of Turkic, about 20% of Russia is), had the brow lids drop down towards the edge of the eye. It's prevalent heavily in Boris and Kostya Tszyu. I wouldn't be surprised if they're just descendants of the Turkic states which fought from the bolshevik times. His so pro Russian he finished up saying all his grandparents are Russian, but his grandmother's Korean...

If you knew anything about the Geo Politics of that situation you would know that Washington started it, and the so called brutal invasion was done to kick the Ukro Neo Nazi Azov thugs out of the break away Republics where they had been terrorising Russian speaking citizens and shelling them with Artillery since 2014, before Vlad Putin authorised the military operation into those regions, who broke away form the Ukraine and who's territories are now forever part of Russia. You can blame the crazed and deranged democrats in Washington for the Russian military response which was justified.
