The only thing better than hearing this here, is being there to *feel* it.

YES SOMEONE I CAN ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND
If you turn the volume up real high after it's over, you can hear "sehr gut" in a ghostly voice.

My life would have been so much more worth living if I could have played this fugue, like this, even if only just one.
I play guitar, and the right hand is usually synched up with what the left hand is doing. On the keyboard, the two hands are often moving independently, then you throw in the feet on an organ ... I have no idea how that's done. You also need good stomach muscles to keep those legs up so they can move around. Please, someone get the appreciation, fame and fortune these organ players deserve. Bravo!

He gets " lost" in the music pulling me in with him. I also am free of my Parkinson's when plays. When I am alone I sing the voices as loudly as I can. I'm good for hours after that. Thank you Matthias

I am in awe of the talent on display here. It is also wonderful to see the joy which playing Bach gives to the organist.

Funny, for me Bachs Fugues are very easy to play, because I listened so often to them that I almost know every note/ voice. For me They are easier than the preludes or the "Orgelbüchlein." And much easier than Reger and the romantique composers

Matthias Havinga’s skill of managing to sweep us along with him in the unrelenting euphoria of this piece is nothing short of astounding. A fantastic, thrilling performance!
He plays that piece like a rock star! Never letting that tempo go. It is played with full testosterone passion and strength. Magnificent ! More please.
Brilliant playing Matthias, you make Bach's music come alive in a very powerful way!
Amazing how he moves the feet as fast as his two hands. What an agile brain. Great job, great joy! Praise God.
That was perfection.
Yes, other commentators are totally correct: you create the world’s best dance music. You communicate brilliantly the sheer joy of this music. Since we need as much joy as we can get in these dark days, thank you!
Superbe! Both organist and organ.
Bravissimo Matthias ! You were born to play Bach at his best. You make it sound and look as if it were easy. Ton aisance est unique dans l'exécution de cette oeuvre magistrale. Long live Matthias and may God bless and keep you in HIs love for ever. Québec -Canada.

My type of playing... very actuate, clean, even... beautifully phased... BUT EVEN MORE important... emotional... you make the notes COME TO LIFE... SOO many "artists" miss this point... you do this from the first note! BRAVO
Yeah! Truly amazing!
You only one person in the word that could treat this great instrument in purpose . And even your attitude you deal it is so beautiful .No needs any words.
Faultless performance, clarity, expression, tempi, stops and the unstopalbe driving force often missing from this piece. BRAVO !
Excellent!!!
