He's smart. His smile and that alright alright Texas accent never gets old.
I read the book and it's a great read. He's always had a winning mentality. I hope we see him onscreen again. He hasn't started in a movie in years

I got the audiobook off Amazon, and I have listened to it 3 times now. I love it. His flow while he narrates his book is flawless. It’s as if he just called me on the phone and decided to tell me his stories. He narrates his book with such ease of voice you feel like you are just listening to a friend talk. This book, his manner of reading it to us, and his overall story is amazing. This did not feel like a memoir but like a motivational book.

I have the book and I have it on Audible. I thought, wow listening to Matthew McConaughey reading as I fall asleep will be great. I'm a southern girl with the accent but that's f*cking MM! I can't go to sleep because he's so damn funny. It's great.
I just Love Mathew 💖 He's such a great guy and actor.

It’s a book you’d want to give to a recent college graduate. It’s about making good life decisions. A really great audio book.
I literally JUST finished listening to this on Audible. Fantastic to listen to!

Matthew McConaughey is an awesome actor. But what's greater is he's an awesome person 👍. When he acknowledged the children and teachers who were shot down and killed in his hometown in Uvalde Texas in the way he did, I have nothing but respect for him. 👍😊❤️🙏✝️✌️😎

My thoughts exactly. You can see and hear the deep grief for his childhood town and the complete empathy and compassion for the families. I think getting married and having children has changed him in the best way possible.

Oh, The Giving Tree... best book ever! If MM's book compares to that, then it is a keeper!
Jimmy describing the book is like a 4th grader forgetting to do his book report and make it up on the spot with general statements.
When I was a kid, I had a tree house that my dad had built. It had a little deck. And you could jump from it onto the trampoline. All the kids were over my house. Kids these days will never know how special 80s kids had it. Back then, there were no cell phones to distract the kids from playing OUTDOORS. And there was no social media to ruin kids' emotions. If I had a kid, they wouldn't get a phone till they were 18.

Not in Britain. He wouldnt be given planning permission, not even in a dense forest where no one goes, the drones used by local council officers would easily spot something so large and force him to pull it down, or pay them to do it. you wont get away with a small shed hidden in your back garden, some nosey neighbour would tell the busy body council officers and youd becslapped with a pull it down notice.
