I always liked Doug DeWitt as a fighter. Just seems he always led with his nose instead of his gloves. Keep your gloves up Doug ! Pow Pow

Me too, his defense isn't to good.I'd think that he'd have trouble breathing with his pancake nose.I wonder now that he's retired if he got surgery on his nose.it'd be an easy operation.just insert a steel rod in the top and straight down to add some support. Lol

Dave Hilton , LOST SOME CREDIBILITY, when he didn’t protect Mathew in the Hines fight ? That’s an understatement for anyone who doesn’t know the dynamics of the relationship. This is another classic story about how “ the nasty business “ of boxing used to be. Sort of like watching a train wreck in slow motion. Everyone knows how it ends, even the actors..but the show goes on. Not that Matt requires sympathy, but what could have been a champion of note. He was very tough, and punched with Bad intentions.

Watching all of Dewitts fights atm. Great fighter who only lost to legends. The Hearns fight was v close imo. I wonder who wd have won had he fought Duran
