Sorry I haven't been uploading as much lately, I have been working on other projects apart from my KZread channel. I started this video last year, but didn't get a chance to finish it, but I finally did. Hope you guys enjoy it and can forgive me for my absence.

This hurts my heart and renews me at the same time. When I make a huge mistake, instead of my brothers and sisters in Christ rallying around me and trying to help, they treated me the way Simon treated Matthew in the beginning. And so I ran away and wandered in my own wilderness for nearly 20 years. Then God brought into my life someone who showed me the He still cares and wants me to follow Him again. And I found peace.

Oh how we have to watch ourselves. This gives a great picture of how Simon couldn't phantom Matthew could suffer. Yet Matthew's suffering was of a different kind, where he was misunderstood his whole life. Stuck on the outside. That is suffering and Simon can't see it. Oh Jesus open our eyes to our brothers and have compassion on us. Show us to love our brothers.

Powerful 😍I am crying because Jesus loves us just the way we are. He knows what is inside of you. It doesn't matter what you've done. The matter is who you are right now. He will come to you and will make your path right. He loves your heart. You are His child. You are in His hands.

I see so much of myself in Matthew and so much of my brother in Simon. I am autistic, things work different in my mind and no matter how scary get no one "truly" gets it. This hsow has made me feel seen so many times over

Your mind is wonderful and Jesus knows it. You are closer than the kingdom than most because of the mind you were given. My daughter functions very much like Matthew, I won't give her a diagnosis because I'm not labeling her or limiting her. Your mind is brilliant and sensitive to the things of God and you are needed in the Kingdom. Your special love and tenderness is needed. My daughter gives FULL hugs. Hugs from heaven. Because she doesn't have the world in her. You are wonderful just as you are.

@@cancandance thank you. Oddly enough you are not the first person to say some of those exact words to me. A God thing for sure. However not growing up with a diagnosis opened me up for a world of hurt. From the school, from students, and from myself bc i didn't understand why I was so different, I thought my existence was wrong. Please take that into concideration. The lable of Autism is breaking down and we are finally starting to be treated like people. theres a long way to go, but that label saves lives. Either way praying for you and your special little girl

@@cancandance Labeling is not limiting, trust me. I wish I had known I was autistic growing up, instead of finding out in my 20s, and by then so much damage had been done.

I love this video. Because of The Chosen series, I have been able to read, and enjoy, the Book of Matthew in a new way. This particular gospel has always been difficult for me to get through. I now approach this gospel with new appreciation. Thanks to The Chosen. ❤

Matthew always was my favorite book of the New Testament and now he's my favorite character on the show

And tears....it's funny how people look at things and how Messiah does. Reminds me of a verse in 1 Corinthians where it talks about using the foolish of the world to shame the wise. It's not that being different is a bad thing, but the WORLD sometimes sees it as such. But Jesus, he sees it as a strength. As we see so eloquently played out here.

Even with how much of a jerk he has been. GOD chose him to the father. I am not willing to lie and say TV(in my case TV is not your flatscreen) when it is JV. My son was foretold by MY GOD 32 years ago and I saw my son in images GOD placed in my mind. He is that same son I was shown. I will not say he is anyone else's son but GOD's or JH's. -AB
