It is odd that this work has not been printed to DVD or anywhere else but live in theatre at a huge rental cost. Maybe it's fate is to be an unknown work, which would be a shame, it is worth seeing if you can ever find it.

I saw the Cremaster Cycle, all 5 parts a few years ago in Seattle. It was a slow-moving, arduous film to watch, however the cinematography was quite good. This to me is someone making film using whatever is graphically interesting. Don't expect to see a clear cycle, or theme or thoughts explored. Expect to be surprised and waiting tediously for the next visual shock to happen. It's like a thriller with long slow-motion scenes between action scenes.

More coughing than a studio full of syrup sipping rappers; some of the most simply amazing hacking and phlegm I've ever heard. The rumor is Barney hired a bunch of actors to cough and choke the whole way through, creating a spontaneous work to reflect the outer sterilization and inner contamination of the human physique... The whole effect: 12:30, as just one of the numerous examples, made to upset the audience and viewer; as well as the constant annoying moving and touching of the microphones

Is the sound way out of sync or is Matthew Barney's articulation super weird?
