Matt Watts on rigging characters in Harmony

Фильм және анимация

Matt Watts is an accomplished self-taught animator and rigging artist based out of Utah, who not only has a decade of freelance work under his belt but also came recommended by his colleagues from his TV production work in Canada. He recently joined the team at Digital Gravy. We invited Matt on our livestream to discuss his work on the rigs that we are using in our Introduction to Rigging and Advanced Rigging courses as well as to answer questions about what studios look for from rigging artists.
You can find our previous interview with Matt Watts on our blog, where we explore the Punk Rig used in our new training courses:

I found this video to be very instructional even as a 2d production coordinator. Harmony and I have a love hate relationship, fortunately the love wins out 98% of the time lol Thank you for this :)

On 22:46, wouldn't torso tilt override the body turn? Is the default master controller thing smart enough to consider both or is this a custom script?

I'd like to know it too. It actually looks like it does override, and the body turn M.C. was used just to turn legs. Does somebody know where this shark can be downloaded?
