I love everything Matt and Trey do professionally and creatively. But if they aren't goofing here, they come off poorly. Imagine being a (very successful) grown adult and embarrassed if you are seen with someone not from the cool kids table. I agree, AFHV was cheeseball as fuck. But if they really disliked the guy for doing it, they could just let him know to his face and not associate with him at all, instead of acting accommodating and friendly, and then talking shit whenever he's not around to save some sort of face. Which just comes off as real, unadulterated weakness. No one was forcing them to talk to Saget for even one second. Then again they are comedic and I might be taking this way too seriously. In which case, I apologize for my own douchery.

No, dude, I think you were right originally. I think its just as lame and crappy as it looks. You hate this dude who was by your own admission always friendly and had a great sense of humor about you making fun of him...because he hosted a lame show?! Seems kind of absurd. They are funny guys. But there are a few things they do that make me think I wouldn't like them personally. This is one of them

Its like those people from highschool who world barge into different friend groups like "heyy guys! What's going on" just to annoy them because they know they aren't liked and usually kill the energy in the room. You didn't win anything because you kept annoying them. So I was never on team Bob Saget. But what is he supposed to do? Get upset? Chew you out ? The guy got crazy far in a tough tough industry that chews people up and spits them out, and he knew this ultimate rule: hating on people is pointless. He rose way above it. And quite honestly I can hang out with anyone who’s willing to hang out. But I can’t stand bullies and arrogant a holes. I love South Park and what these guys did. After this, Matt and Bob were seen attending events together and even posing together, and both were pretty good friends with John Stamos, so Matt most likely got over whatever he had against Bob. @@AwesomeGodinez this audio is from an audiocommentary they did for south park's first season in an episode where Saget appeared, "Cartman's mom is a dirty slut", a long time ago. About attending events and posing together, there are photos, i believe you can easily find them on google. The fact that Matt Stone is really good friends with John Stamos is known too (recently Stamos even posted a picture with him in his instagram, they were making pizzas together or something). Hope this helps

I give them a pass as boss saget did. The man didn't want any hate in his life and knows the meaning of killing them with kindness. The ultimate move. This is old, let's see if they ever come back to this. I hope to see him referenced again... it would be an ultimate episode if Bob came back to South park and make Kyle and Stan regret it for being douche bags! I just don't get them passing on the peace pipe. They made fun of him and he probably appreciated being referred in their show. I already knew he cared about people more than 99 procent out here, this just proofs it yet again.

That guy always seeing Bob was the world giving him another chance to not be a douchebag. Guess he failed. Too many low life’s in this world. He says he was embarrassed to be seen with Bob? What is he a 15 year old teenage girl?

I get that same vibe from David Letterman as well. I bet now they feel even shittier that Hollywood is expressing their loss for an honestly great celebrity who was anything but selfish. It's funny that once the nerds get to eat at the cool table, it must be easier to pick on the very same people that are just like you.

And Bob still praised their show on his podcast from time to time, Bill Burr even brought it up to him and he still seemed quite neutral about how they made fun of him, I think what it comes down to is Matt and Trey aren't typical celebrities that fraternize with big people except for a few also take into account this commentary was recorded years ago, Season 25 is just around the corner let's see what they do in reference to that
