yes!! why wouldn´t you want to acknowlege constructive feedback that improves the vibe? also Carly is the coolest for being able to put herself in the others shoes and always tries to acknowlege Matt´s feelings, that´s how it should be

This podcast always makes me realize I am so Matt-Coded 😂 What's wrong with taking a comment into consideration if it means a possibly improved product? The talking over each other doesn't bother me, but knowing Mike and Erin could essentially give a single fuck about what their fans have to say is a bit disheartening and made me feel like shit as a listener if I'm being honest. Kudos to you Matt!

to answer Matt’s question, the gen z equivalent to froyo is probably boba

When it’s back and forth banter I don’t mind when people talk over each other as long as I can make out what’s being said, but there have been times when Matt, for example, will be telling a story and someone will interrupt him to say something completely unnecessary and we sometimes never hear the end of his sentence 💔 it’s never so annoying that I’m like “I’m never listening to them again” but I do feel blue-balled. Perhaps I’m more sensitive to this bc I’m a quiet person and I HATE when the more talkative people in the room hijack my story and end up changing the topic after I finally find a break in the conversation to speak. Then I just feel too awkward to circle back and finish my point.

matt is right about talking over each other, that is for all podcasts. its very everyone against matt over something objectively annoying just for the sake of all being against matt...who would want to listen to anything indiscernible. confused why any of the other hosts would have such strong feelings against that. its annoying to talk over someone in real life, why would anyone want to choose to listen to that in podcast format? very confused how this is even an argument. he is right also that its not something anyone wants to hear them argue about.

i honestly don’t mind that y’all talk over each other, I don’t really notice most times. I think it’s shows that you’re passionate about the conversation and engaged with it! also that you’re real friends having a discussion and real friends talk over each other, cut each other off and finish each other sentences. love y’all💗

I agree. It's frustrating that when someone (mostly Matt) is saying something they don't agree with they just keep pushing back until he finally backs down. **Said with love. Clarifying since they seemed to be bothered by anything that isn't 100% positive.

I empathize with Matt because the podcast started a lot more structured with simple topics yall all round table talked about in turn. It’s devolved to more of a hangout podcast now that the topics have been very vague.

Matt’s always coming with the best intentions! I always love his takes on things.

Talking over each other feels like a big family. It’s nice background noise at work. 😊

I know these pods have a VERY similar audience bc i watch them all. We like the chill, hangout, friends chatting style of conversation. Being interupted is part of it ❤

Some talking over will happen. But I tend to agree at times it happens a lot. I think for example when it’s like ugh,is say, Mike is trying to say one thing and gets interrupted like 4x before he can get it out. And I think Matt is taking what that person says as a way to improve verses just brushing that person off.

Love this but maybe dont discussing what viewers do and dont like…and just do! It feels like the last few episode it starts with the same discussion. I was with Matt before I knew they were pranking him. I was so overstimulated, which is not what I want from a podcast 😆 edit: at the end of the day it is your podcast and y’all can just “hang out” and be super laid back like Mike described but I think it makes sense to listen to feedback to see how your audience is liking your content. It doesn’t mean you’ll change but the connection with audience will be there. Like mentioned above, I personally get super overstimulated if people start talking over each other, but if I’m the odd one out- I wouldn’t expect y’all to change that completely.

The beginning of this podcast stressed me out lol. I personally don’t love when everyone is talking over each other because i can be sensitive to sound. But do as you please, it’s your show!

I watch the pod and sometimes just do audio only when I’m driving and i will say the interruptions aren’t chaotic when I’m watching. However, when I’m doing audio only and everyone is talking over eachother, it can get a little chaotic and confusing. I mean obviously it doesn’t last long but that’s the only thing that jumbles my brain.

I listen to Good Influences in the car on the way to class, which is 35 mins, and I don't mind that you guys talk over each other! I actually don't really pay it much attention, to be honest, and it feels like I'm just listening to friends talk on my drive. Matt - stay off the gossip forums, we love you guys.
