Turn up the defense. Michigan is at the bottom of the Big10 and they out scored PU in the second half. You have to have better defense to make it through the tournament

Agreed. I haven't heard many people talking about Purdue's defense falling off recently. Absolutely critical to get back to "Defense Lives Here."

Loyer needs to sit, Gillis And Heidi needs to play more

Thank god Purdue went to the Edey/Braden/Lance/Gillis/Heide line up for the final 6 minutes of the first half in order to build up an 11 point lead. We lose that game otherwise. How I am the only person in the world who sees that is our best lineup is bewildering. All 5 guys can play both offense and defense it's shocking. Painter went to that line up for the final 1 minute of the 2nd half too so maybe painter has finally realized what I realized in December. Loyer played 25 minutes and Purdue was a -5 when he played. In the 15 minutes Loyer did NOT play Purdue was a whopping +13. Unless Loyer is hitting shots, unless he is benched more often for Heide, Purdue can't win the national championship.

maybe you have .001 of 1% of the coaching knowledge that Painter has? do you see he is the one of the elite coaches in all of America and you think you know more than he knows. LOL

Correcttion: Zack Edey and whomever beats Michigan. A guy who paints mats could have coached Purdue with Edey on the team. They would have won with any Big Ten Ladies basketball team starters and Edey versus Michigan coach "disgusted rage" Howard.

@@davidwill4679 How astute! Matt Painter is the next John Wooden. How dare I missed that and Zach Edey isn't the single most dominant talent in the game since Kareem Abdul Jabbar. So accept the apology as intended as you must be very close to Matt.

Correction Painter..... you played like crap, yet again. you coached like crap, yet again. The writing is on the wall. We will lose again very early in the tournament. Painter searching for the right combos. Most players have lost all confidence. Players resembling their coach when the game is close.... frantic... turnovers.
