We had a practice with Matt in Timmins this July. It took like 30 people against him back to back for 5 hours before he called it a day, he smoked everybody the whole time. The man is a beast. And my elbow still hurts since that practice 😅.

my friends dad is an armwrestling up incomer and does practice pulls with some proffessionals once every week, i heard one time he did a pull against matt not long ago, of course he did get steamrolled my friend said but still i pulled against him (the dad) and his strength is no joke, just goes to show the top level

I’m happy for Matt, but let’s keep things in perspective. He’s lost literally every match over the past couple of years and beat a significantly older opponent who’s way past his prime. Matt is good for the sport and I want him to do well, but he has a long way to go

Krasi was on a big losing streak till this weekend, so even though Matt won it doesn't count for much I suppose.

The way he battled with Jerry was quite similar to Devon's round 2 with Ermes. Awesome to see.

The Wild Horse!!! Was so happy for him to hear he got Ron.

The wild horse is about to show his true colors.

You can even see him get smaller after the Jerry match. But then in BLM match he was starting to look bigger then bigger in the Sergey match then even bigger vs Ron. Seems like that Prudnick match seems like that Prudnick or Sandris match lit a fire under him but his training didn't start showing til BLM. But it sure is ssshhhweet to see the Wildhorse doing good again 💪🐴🤘

Matt is a fan favorite and so good for this sport. If he can really hit the weights and muscle up, and work on his hook and press, he will be hard to beat in his weight category.

He saud his brachialis didnt feel well for a long time and he barely had access to backpresure, he said it on his channel, he started his Stemcell treatment some time ago and since them hes been good again. So ther is a good reason why hes improved. Same type of situation with Chaffee. Amrwrestling destroyes the body so stemcells can bring back the ability to use all the muscles.

Matt Mask looks like a much taller short hair version of Terry Bogard! LOL

The thing alot of people dont realise is that mat has devon potential hes just been stuck in a rut an had a hard time findin his grove again

We'll know if he's leveled up or not after his match in November. Beating Ron at his age doesn't signify much right now

Once matt retires from work and can train full time he would be a beast

Mask is doing good against every toproller, his hand and wrist strength is elite for a long time. However, his arm is his weak point, whenever an elite hook pullers goes against him he will lose the match. It's not that he's in better form, it's his opponents that suit him lately. Match him against Prudnik again and we will see the same scenario.

Ron's power isn't going down, but his endurance is clearly declining with age. As for Matt, at times he's closer to RVJ in routine; trains when he can, but has a main job that takes precedence over arm wrestling. He simply can't train as much as he would want to without hurting his income.

id like to point out that matt is one of the few "part time" pullers. He has a huge family, works a hard job and most of his wins come from being the more emotionally invested athlete. I cant speak for Matt, but hes gotten this far almost naturally; relying on size and emotional investment alone. I dont want to see matt on gear. But in todays era of pullers, you almost need to be on something. anything!! there are so many options now and they guy goes with a hair transplant. basically could have bought himself 2 years of stem cells

Naah he didn't. Ron just isn't there anymore, which is understandable. Don't get me wrong i really root for Matt, he's probably the coolest dude on the scene, but he's got too much going on to really commit for the sport, which i get 100%

I wouldn't say leveled up tbh. I feel he was given this match as a shoe in victory. No offense to Ron but he's just too old and the much smaller guy. He only did what was expected.
