    The more i see his videos the more i come to realize. He doesn't cut out the mistakes because HE DOESN'T WANT TO. I think what he's doing is that if he shows his mistakes then he knows someone will think that very talented guitarists like himself, aren't perfect! A great motivational boost for the young guitarist learning!!

    it amazes me that Matt and Corey can play these riffs without any unease and that they are totally chilled out while playing insane triplets and tremolo picks FUCKKKKK TRIVIUM IS THE BEST!

  • @SpawntheFuries
    @SpawntheFuries12 жыл бұрын

    @todor15 they use such high output pickups that they can register the vibrations from the tremolo springs and you can hear it on a recording, so the tissues and tape make it so that the springs don't vibrate.

    @zakkp22 i think they use like mini marshall or blackstarr tube heads and 1x12 cabs boosted with a maxon overdrive or a ibanez tubescreamer for the sound on most lesson videos that and the razorback 7 string

    @RikkudoSennin As Dano said Chromatic is essentially any note listen to "Sweating bullets" by Megedeth the first part of the solo (descending section) is chromatic. Basicall playing the notes one after another. Using notes from the key, and passing notes (Notes not in key). The whole point of it is to use them as passing notes you wouldnt stay on a C if your in the key of B because it would sound out of place and a bad clash would occur, though it can work, but i wont confuse you more XD

  • @Vnalder
    @Vnalder13 жыл бұрын

    @RikkudoSennin No, it's pretty much just B minor with an open pedal tone. So it'd be 0-2-3-0-3-5-0-5-7-0-7-8-7-5-3-0

    @dannyboy472 Standard 7 string tuning (BEADGBe). So if you have a 6 string you'll need to tune down to drop B but you'll lose the high E :/

  • @danobrien2468

    @RikkudoSennin Chromatic means there's no key to it (as I'm sure you know) and this is in B Minor which is B, C#, D, E, F#, G, A, B.

    @TriviumShogun2008 Ummm, when you get used to playing something at a certain pace, to change the speed makes it harder to play. If you go into a high school music class and get the students to play something fast, when you tell them to play it slow, they will probably get it wrong.

    yh when your recording in the studio, you'll be playing the same riff at the same tempo for a long time. and after a while, you start to play from muscle memory. so when you slow it down, you find it trickier to play. well thats what i find anyway :p
