The problem is that we demand it but they won't supply it. Some of the culprits will leave Parliament at the next general election, not all of them willingly. A new generation of wankers will join, spend five or ten years out of power, then when they do get into government they will either have forgotten all about the mistakes their predecessors made or will be seduced by the bright lights and shiny money of the City of London and all the offshore clients. It's happened before and it'll happen again.

In 2018, Isabel Oakeshott was rumoured to be in a relationship with Richard Tice - who runs rival political party Reform UK and was against the lockdown measures. She was also sceptical of lockdown and has previous form of squealing on people she had taken into her confidence. So why on earth did Hancock think she was a suitable ghost writer for his fantastical memoirs? Perhaps an alternative headline for this piece could be "Just how thick is Matt Hancock?"

Just to point out as lots of east Asia proved to save the economy you need to save the population (you know because the economy is made up of people) early national lockdowns lead to less deaths, less time in lockdown and less economic damage. Because economies were already suffering massively due to people not shopping as much because of the virus. Therefore a short sharp lockdown meant you could get to zero cases and then open up the economy and everyone felt safe look at Vietnam and New Zealand. Unlike in the UK where we let 200,000 people d ie and would seemingly at random go into lockdown or not. We didn't even make people quarantine coming into the nation and we are an island 🤦‍♂️

Yeah, but when US, UK and Germany decided (the first time) that Covid was over and forced most restrictions to be abandoned, we managed to export our mutations and kill over 40.000 people in Vietnam, so... WE PAID THEM BACK! Same with all those lazy underpaid workers meant to serve us. How dare they try to preserve their health and life and make things inconvenient for (home) office workers!?!

A small correction: He voted for the 'bedroom' tax,' which says that *_we_* should pay more for having extra bedrooms. He voted against the 'mansion tax,' which says that *_he and his rich mates_* should pay more for having extra bedrooms. It's not paying for bedrooms that's the issue - it's who pays for them. He thinks _we_ should, but that _he_ shouldn't.

And 3 months down the line what exactly has happened to him? How has he been punished, had justice meted out to him? They get away - literally - with murder (or at least manslaughter)

We need to start profiling in the US, guys like Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, Paul or Jim Jordan would be a good starter

I live in Bulgaria now and we were doing BRILLIANTLY, the lowest deaths and cases in Europe. THEN we had a general election and the PR system didnt produce a winner [and has not in the 4 subsequent elections since] and it all went to f-king shit and we ended up the worst in Europe.
