And if someone genuinely wants to help you, there should be no money exchanged unless a physical asset is exchanged. Real help comes from love, God is Love. Money just adds corruption and evil. AA is free to all, many others are out there. Get help from someone you trust. Getting any advice from someone with a quarter million in student loan debt isn't wise. Loved the red Countach story! I remember as a teen on my paper route in NE Ohio in the 80s, I loved checking out a white Countach when I could on my freestyle bmx bike. I was amazed at the rear wheels lol! I had Countach poster on my bedroom wall..

I remember when this story came out, it was MASSIVELY disliked. I respect it too, he knows NOW he was being dumb as hell back then. He learned, he didn’t do it again, he moved forward. This is best case scenario. Sure he could have chosen to NOT do it in the first place but I mean if we are truly honest with ourselves, TRULY honest with ourselves, nobody is free and clear from criticism. We have ALL done stupid things and made mistakes. Every single one of us. Deniers are straight up lying and I don’t care what they say. What makes us who we are today is the choices we make following mistakes we made back then.

@@PigglyWigglyDeluxe I imagine the bad taste it left in people's mouth was not because he was trying to take responsibility and point out that, in hindsight, it was a stupid thing to do. Most of us respect the growth that he has shown in that regard. The annoyance is with the political nonsense injected into it. Nobody wants to hear about dudes white privelage. It doesn't exist any more than black or brown or Asian privelage does. He is privelaged in the sense that his father worked for Ralph Lauren and was more well off than most, but that is not a white thing. People need to stop demonizing themselves and others for things that are out of their control(skin color, nationality, etc.).

If you get pulled over, are respectful and aren't acting unreasonably 99.9% of police interactions will end peacefully, with a warning, citation, or an arrest. His privilege remarks aren't necessary. Police interactions don't have to be combative.

gotta disagree about the focus rs. I got a different seat rack which lowered the seating position by about 5cm, made a world of difference. Track pack manual seat btw.

I remember being in high school and loving Matt Farrah’s reviews / podcast. He always had great insights about obscure cars and amazing stories. It’s genuinely sad that since ~2020 he has to inject his political opinions into his content. I watch car content to relax and enjoy the cars. Not hear some random guys political ideology. Even if I agree with some of his politics.

So this is what I learned watching this… you sold your deloreon and added cash to rent a ford focus….

Always love when Matt Farrah comes on and a bunch of mouth breathers who can’t spell come here to call him woke. He’s a great journalist and a great story teller. Loved his appearance on the show.

Matt did however claim that his white privelage is why he could do stuff like that and come out of it unscathed. The story is the same without including the bits about his white privelage, so instead of being annoying to 90% of listeners, he could have just left his bull shit political ideology out of it. I dont care that there are people that disagree with my politics, but I'm not in people's faces about it. I expect the same respect in return, but seldom receive it. If you cant see why that is annoying then you're just blind. It would be nice to be able to go a day without some libtard bringing politics into everything(I say libtards because aside from decorations conservatards arent in everyone's face about politics all the time).

I'm not saying that Matt said anything about that. As a whole I dont have a problem with how he told the story, but there was no need to bring up his political beliefs(saying he has white privelage because he was able to get away with messing with the cops in a $400k car). That is not white privelage, nor is anything else. That is privelage based on economic class. Calling everything white privelage is basically assuming that everyone is racist, so unless you're white, you arent going anywhere in life. Either that or its insinuating that unless you're white, you're not good enough to get anywhere. Neither of those are good things. There are racist people out there for sure, and racist against any race that you can imagine, but they are the vast minority and to pretend otherwise is irresponsible. I'm 28 years old and for the first half of my life, nobody that I knew save for a few old farts, thought about race at all. Now everything is supposedly racist and its impossible to ignore, because its worked it's way into everything that we see. Get on KZread or Facebook and I guarantee you will see something talking about race. Watch a basketball game or play call of duty and you will find it there too. The only places I do not see it are places that are controlled by conservatives(gun forums, the shooting range, the local gun store). Notice all of my examples are 2nd amendment related. That is because the left controls all of our entertainment. Disney, the NBA, NFL, MLB, Netflix, hulu, hollywood in general are all prime examples of this. I dont care if someone disagrees with me politically. We all think differently and that's fine. I dont throw it in everyone's face that I'm a conservative. I expect the same respect in return, but respect is not something that people understand these days. Sorry for the rant. I just dont understand how people can be blind to this, or complacent if they do see it. Regardless of your political beliefs, unless that is why I am watching your content, I dont need to hear it. 98% of people I have ever spoken with about this feel the same way. The only ones that don't are the ones screaming orange man bad.
