Carpenter is a stud. His homer total likely won't be as high, but I'd still expect a real solid line of something like .270 AVG, 25 HR, 100 RUNS, 90 BB and .850 OPS. Having Goldy in the lineup is going to help him. I love that he's also not afraid to bunt against the shift. More guys should do that.

Carpenter is underrated in my opinion! All around he is a Solid guy to have on any team! Super happy the Cardinals signed an extension with this guy!

Carpenter hit .145 in April with 1 homerun. He hit .170 in September with 1 homerun. He's in his early-mid 30's, so obviously we can expect him to regress a bit in the coming years. But it's not farfetched to think this was a career power year.. considering he did the bulk of his damage in half of a season.

How good does a player have to be to get a video? Rookies and catchers can pass with lower offensive stats i assume.

Carpenter hit 30 homers 100 RBI. The Cardinals have a point getter who is tall and can score runs, but will he still be around in 2021?.

muzik dude I think that’s a result of the instability of hitting coaches the cardinals have had for the last few years. Everybody tries to tweak his swing and they don’t know what they’re talking about.

He hasn’t had a decent year since. Done nothing but collect his money. If he made the League minimum he would have been cut lose 2 years ago. I remember when a guy’s playing time was determined by his ability, not his salary.
