That’s why this situation annoys me. Celtics are suspending him for breaking team policy on dating in house, but reports have come out that he was very very inappropriate so how are the Celtics just welcoming him back into the organization after a year? Fire him if he was inappropriate, keep the situation behind closed doors if it wasn’t as bad as some reports say they are.

He's not coming back the suspension is a cover for the inevitable firing/buyout. Suspending him means he doesn't get his full salary and can't take another HC gig if offered he would be better off fired.

The Celtics organization mishandled the situation because they could have just said, "Ime Udoka will be taking a leave of absence for the time being."

Heartbreaking for everyone 'personally' involved, then for fans and friends. I respect that within a day of getting more 'concrete' information Matt Barnes apologized for his initial public comments (in defense of) then mentioned 'there's more to it;' I hope that no one in the Celtic's organization made public the reasons for the suspension, only that Ime violated 'organization rules of conduct,' without being specific; now that the 'specific rules' have been made public lot of what's been written and said regarding the 'affair' folks are saying 'how can he do that to Nia Long?' I get it, however, and (Maybe it's jus' me) but: REGARDLESS OF WHO IT IS whenever you break that bond of trust, be it infidelity or something else, it can break anyone, so I wish folks would get off the 'it was Nia Long' mindset. Yeah, now it's public, and fair or not it answers the age-old question 'what price fame?' More often than not, it costs you your privacy, and too often your dignity.
