Other than that, he's highly spoken of by EVERY GODDAMN female seiyuu that he'd worked with. whenever he was brought up, he was NEVER a footnote, he was ALWAYS THE center of whatever topic that they brought him up about, so much so that whenever he was brought up, the talk about him NEVER lasted for less than 2 minutes. unlike other popular male below-40 male seiyuu, his fanbase consisted largely of GUYS, most of whom are actually more happy to see him onstage than just any about any other female seiyuu (of course, the best is always him with a bunch of female seiyuus with no other guys around). by the way, from what we could tell so far with our outsider's perspective, his harem is AT LEAST TWICE AS large as that of any harem MC of any works, & from the looks of it, is still growing. despite having gotten fat since 2018 & his weight hardly dropped till this very day, his popularity with female seiyuus or the fans, soared instead of getting diminished. there's just no other like him or even similar to him to any extent, in the entire industry.

@@FalconWindblader afaik, being a bit overweight is better and healthier for your voice, so, kinda, good for him. That probably wasn't intentional in Tsugu2's case tho :D, it must've been his 30's getting on him.

​@@ZysperroDefinitely not in his case. he's gotten wayyy too overweight to be called healthy. ironically, his voice indirectly contributed to his weight gain. he had been messing up his daily routine & diet for years since becoming a big name, being so dedicated to his work that he's known to lock himself in the studio for one whole day without eating anything. it also didn't help that his steroid medication for his allergies contributed to his swollen look.

I'm really glad that you get the role of Rio(Haruto Amakawa) in Seirei Gensouki since the first time I read the novel, I have a hunch that you will the one who will voice Rio, so when the Drama CD announced the cast in 2018, seeing your name in the cast as Rio makes me really happy, since it's my favorite Light Novel, and my favorite VA is the one voicing the Protagonist.

So he's just getting to his popular phase now? I can't imagine it.

its october 2023. No it's not tsugutsugu. The role has been given to quite recent VA named Katou Wataru. But he's doing great in that anime so no offense to his fan.

Sakura Ayane wasn't recently. in fact, she could be considered one of the earliest, given their history dating back 10 years ago. Tomatsu Haruka is MARRIED, so no, she's not in it. the major ones right now are Kayano Ai, Minase Inori, Oonishi Saori, Sakura Ayane, Uchida Maaya, & Hidaka Rina. minor ones are easily twice that number.
