If we’re on an accelerated path to dystopia, New York based Matsu and Matthew Law are going to make sure we have a good soundtrack to dance until the planet burns down or eats itself. “Pressure”, the title track from the upcoming EP by these Slow Roast and Fool’s Gold affiliates, is a frantic club weapon that pulverizes a syncopated rhythm. The chopped-up vocal at the core of the track feels like H.A.L. hitting a short circuit and losing his mind, which is honestly how we want to feel when we hit the club.
