@@ijsbeest He was the glue that held Feyenoord together, the overal best performing and most consistent player at Feyenoord after Hancko. And he's constantly getting better and better... Absolute gem of a player!!!!

Feels so weird hearing him call us a “big club”. I still have to pinch myself when I hear people say that - but especially someone like this, one of the top players in Europe. I have to pinch myself again with all these amazing unbelievable new signings, choosing to come to our club.

I know exactly what you mean, it's difficult to take in how the club has grown, since they started playing at The Amex. Does it sound silly to say even though you can see how the team has developed and grown, to the point that they played in Europe for the first time. That you still don't believe it all.

From the video clips I've seen he does look really good. Just what Brighton were missing. Last season was painful to watch at times being so lightweight in CM after Caceido left

He will need time to adapt to the pace of the Premier League. Has to step-up his handling speed. But no doubt that in the course of the season he will get there. Not surprised if he needs 6 months or so to get adapted though. He is a smart player, smart guy, and therefore he can be quite hard for himself. But he has some good qualities and a real teamplayer with lots of stamina and technical ability. So give him some time and in a few months time he will probably become a regular starter. Luckily some countrymen already at Brighton that will help him to adapt fast - will surely help.

Good player, great mentality, able to run a lot of kilometers (box to box), scores quite some important goals cuz he has a good feeling of the field possession and where he needs to be to get in a scoring position, level headed type of guy who always gives 200%, fits PL very well with his style of play.

Rather weird to go from Feyenoord to Brighton, because Feyenoord is a bigger club and Rotterdam a more interesting city than the provincial Brighton.... I'd expected he would go to Liverpool or Manchester.....

I don't know, personally I would never go to England, way too depressing over there, especially that depressing gloomy cold rainy weather makes you want to kill yourself, no wonder why all the top players like Ronaldo (for the most part), Ronaldo (Brasil), Romario, Cruyff, Maradona, MBappe, Messi, Zidane etc preferred the south.
