Damn the way Kamal and Siddharth were over hyping the movie you'd think they've made the best movie of all time in the ENTIRE world 😂

And don't forget that the unicycle was supposed to be ridden by kids, while he was riding it in 70kmph speed

I still remember I watched Hindustani in theaters as a kid ,the double role by kamal hassan and the news surrounding how the makeup used to depict senapati was one of its kind, the music of rahman with hits like latka laga diya which was the costliest music vid of that time and telephone dhun mein still seems amazing till this date despite its not so usual lyrics, then the story and that 2 finger torsion move by senapati to injure the perpetrators was one of its kind , but the icing was his son being the corrupt one and he himself kills him at the end of the movie and then giving a call later to let know that he survived the crash 🔥... I never thought that a sequel was needed and if it did come , it should have been grandiose rather than relying on the fact that the third part should be more anticipated 😮 Well the might may fail , never expected Shankar to but well here we are.

In all seriousness I actually felt the Indian 3 glimpse was wayyyy better than the whole Indian 2 movie. Hard to believe myself but I still have hope for Indian 3

It took forever to release the film. Almost 5.5 years just in filming and post-production stage. Don't know how long it took in pre-production stage. It's like Shankar was competing to his own film 2.0 in how to delay.

Omg this is one of the most unbelievable and funny facts review. I can't believe what I am hearing 😮

1) The producer taking shankar to court shouldn't be forgotten 2) The things that's relevant now might not be relevant in future and might look cringe 3) Jammy's bias towards bollywood never dies... He finds cringe in all movies except bollywood...not to forget atlee combined few south movies to make jawaan and largely his stories of fight against corruption comes from shankar and the same jammy went gaga over SRK and atlee bcz its bollywood while he critiqued other atlee movies now shankar movies if this was made using someone from bollywood he would have asked us to appreciate the honest efforts and relive the nostalgia😂😂

Those who havent watch it yet, plz dont!! I slept thru the 2nd half quite uncomfortably in the theatre chair next to the speakers blaring loud. As to siddharth, his acting like the goody 2 shoes both in his movies and in real life is getting too dramatic even for his sake.

Only ss Rajamouli is improving his craft with his each and every movie From Magadheera to eega to bahubali to RRR U can clearly see how much he has mastering his hand on technical department and craft His movies looks so rich compare to other indian movies I don't know how will he cook ssmb29 when people from globe have so much expectation on him Japanese audience American audience s after RRR

SS Rajamouli writes his own Screenplay. Also he only takes story from Vijendra Prasad and writes scenes and everything. That is why he cooks so hard.

when Indian 1 came, it had a purpose. It was one of a kind. Nobody expected an old man to be the protagonist. The whole concept was new and it clicked. Now, Indian 2 came BECAUSE INDIAN 1 CLICKED. Otherwise Shankar would have worked on more sensible topics. The very idea of cashing on an accepted story, shows that you are lazy to innovate. This is the case with most of the sequels in world cinema. Only exceptions is movies like Bahubali where one single story is divided into multiple individual movies. I’m glad Indian 2 failed. At least this will remind film makers to not be lazy and innovate when it comes to story

About Sj suryah he will be the main villain in Indian 3 who also knows varma kalai art which means this time villain also have the power of senapati

We watched Indian2 and liked it. I dont know the reason behind the harsh criticism ? ?

They didn’t even edit out the song end credits from the youtube version of the song in the final movie edit.

On a serious note, A Gujrati Businessman turning into a horse was so disturbing to hear, seriously, this was one reason, I had stopped watching Alif-Laila. I could relate to A.R.Rahman gig😂😄

@@abhinavmaharaj4804 Dude every film becomes outdated at a point. Even Rajamouli films. Kalki is literally about “Dystopian era” basically the future so idk about that but films like Baahubali is also kinda outdated now.

Why story matters even though you get blockbuster Actor and director.

Indian 2 was trying to replicate the first Indian for the current generation particularly Gen Z but reduced Senapthy as a grumpy boomer rather than an influential freedom fighter. Definitely made me appreciate the first Indian even more

Shankar seems to have got caught in legal trouble in many places ended up doing multiple films at same time..

This just was a completely unnecessary sequel to a very well done film - just because Senapathi said he will be back if needed isn't compelling enough for a sequel - I hope this serves as a lesson to keep the other classic films untouched

Every INDIAN has his day! Too long in the making so has to feel dated as they might have TRIED to modify once the shoot restarted! Some actors in it have passed away while ago as well!

Sidhartha role emotional scene looks like an over dramatic knock off of Rang De Basanti

Sounds like pure propaganda to me. Almost got religio-political vibes the producers wanted to feed the masses. I think Shankar got pressurized politically to make the sequel in this way to uphold the political statements the state government projects. I am not saying this is an absolute reason for this terribly made movie. Just think of the nightmares Shankar had seen after watching the final edits.

The director of Jawan - Atlee was an assistant of Shankar and uses the vigilante trope that Shankar uses in many of his movies that's why it feels similar. Shankar's Gentlemen, Indian, Mudalvan, Apparachit have the same vigilante theme

the disaster impact for this film once again reminds us about the importance of good writing and making second part of a film just for the purpose of grabbing more money won't work easily

Instead of making #Indian3 next part of #Indian2 the whole story should be in one movie itself Indian 2 as 1st half and Indian 3 as 2nd half could be power packed screen play movie as #Mudhalvan , #Anniyan , #Shivaji and #Robot but #Shankar missed this opportunity 😢😢😢 unnecessarily he dragged the story 😏😏😏

People from South India are making such great films about our India and our Indian people are busy making films on America. Such a shame.
