I am a musician and was playing a bar gig the same day this guy played a music in the same city. He was at the bar late watching our band and vibing. It was a great experience. We were not an amazing band lol. Just having him watch and actually listen was really cool.

i met him backstage when he was a long haired rapping Jew - hanging with Rabbis in robes - totally different “vibe” for sure. the drugs took effect & he got worldly so the Rabbis disappeared when he discarded his Jewish “costume”. he transitioned from a beatboxing phenom to massive fruitcake in 3 albums. which begs the question, does he still urinate while standing? 🤔😎

My first introduction to Matisyahu was his Live at Stubb's (2005) after that I was hooked. Love this set and I love all @Sugarshack Music Channel videos and artist.

Doesn't matter if it's the Jazz of Spaga or the Reggae of Matisyahu, Jason Fraticelli is an amazing bass player!
