But why? Why do we need to be catagorised by what holiday we celebrate?

I am not Jewish. However, I will get behind anything that promotes love. This song is truly amazing and, I enjoy it. Most of the people who will hate on Hanukkah are the same people that will hate on anything they find that contradicts their point of view. My best friend will tell me "Happy Hanukkah" and I will reply "Merry Christmas". We don't do it in the spirit of my religion vs. his religion, it's in the spirit of love. I see all these angry posts about it's MERRY CHRISTMAS NOT HAPPY HOLIDAYS. I didn't know we had a monopoly on this part of the year for the holiday venue. If that were the case shouldn't we be arguing about Pass over vs Easter? Why be angry about it? Say Merry Christmas or Happy Hanukkah and if the person gets offended write them off as an imbecile and move on.
