Hearing children express themselves in all their unaffected rawness just makes me happy
i love how authentic she was, so cute
Matilda was the highlight of the show; her relationship with Jeevan was the heart of the show, she did an exceptional job especially with episode 7
She seems so mature and wise for her young age. Adorable too! Hopefully Hollywood doesn't corrupt her the way it does most child actors.

I love how she looks at Colbert and genuinely sincerely tells him how lovely and nice to meet him as well

That girl gives off the vibe she is really smart. I hope we see a lot of great work from her in the future.
This makes me feel human. It was a nice interview
She's just as adorable in real as she is in the show. God bless her.
Some people seemed to be annoyed by how she talks. Give her a break, she's just a kid. I would've wished to be able to talk with such confidence when I was at her age. I randomly watched Station Eleven months ago (because I'm kind of obsessed with post-apocalyptic fictions) and I think she's brilliant in it. I had no idea who she was and thought she was related to Kiernan Shipka. Looking forward to seeing her future works.
the growing relationship between her character and Jeevan is what made me continue watching the series, they almost lost me in the middle but I wanted to see what happens to these 2 characters and I'm glad I stayed I really enjoyed this show
she's absolutely incredible in Station 11! I hope she gets an Emmy nom. Her performance had such depth and emotional precision for being so young. A remarkable series too. Thanks, Stephen, for creating awareness for this show!

I reluctantly started watching Station Eleven, expecting not to like it but I really got invested in these characters and their stories. She played her character so well, very captivating!
What an awesome interview!! 😊✌️
OMG...! Steven always incorporates TLOTR in every interview, he is so got on sneaking it into a conversation. I wish I could see his reaction when he got Peter Jackson's news that he's going to be in his movie. 😅
This actor is so adorable. I loved her part of the story in the show.

History has been made here.
Usually when you have two actors play the same character at different points of life, there's an effort of will on the part of the viewer to remind oneself that they're the same person. In this series, I had the opposite problem. My default belief was that Lawler and Davis were the same person, and I had to actively remind myself that they weren't, such was the synchronicity of their respective performances. I wanted to compliment Davis, for example, for her incredibly precocious performance as young Kirstin when she had nothing to do with it. Phenomenal job by both actresses.
Love the clip, Awesome show. Thank you!

So she’s the daughter of Jerry Lawler? I didn’t even know he acted!
awww that was adaaaaawrable!
You really need to do better when you end the interview, Stephan. Talk about an abrupt cut from talking (she basically was in the middle of something) and you just go straight to the ending. Would have been so easy to ask one simple question to fade it all out, but no, you just decided to cut it in a way that showed no respect whatsoever. (Read: You just left her story hanging without giving her the opportunity to end it with something that made sense; This is one thing my dad has told me or similar)
