Dunston my classmate, you are a great counsel by all means-intelligent, sharp and articulate sir but on this one, many questions you are being asked you are evading. I wish you could be more candid and factual. You went to represent your client as your right and obligation to defend Daktari. 1. Matiangi has a right to be protected but you as his lawyer you are confirming you never met anyone that looks suspicious inside or within his house precincts. 2. If anyone suspicious surrounded Daktari's house in an area that is secured even his immediate neighbours(high level neighbourhood), could have sent an alarm. I am however not insinuating that there weren't such an incident but wondering aloud without judging also. 3.Matiangi was in charge of security, how come a senior citizen of his calibre could not take caution of installing cctv facility as cheap as it is today? With that in place it could have been so easy for you Omari to produce evidence on those movements. For now, it's your word against the government's. Difficult balance to be in. 4. I thought that if the system wanted to arrest Matiangi or any other Kenyan citizen, they can easily be picked anywhere outside their residence? Just wondering aloud why the government could purpose to sneak into heavily secured and high-end neighbourhood to attempt to arrest anyone!! 5. Matiangi has armed security but the said "goons" according to Omari never approached them, attempted to force themselves in, or neither talked to his immediate neighbours; nonetheless, Omari you are telling the world there were suspicious characters that milled around your client's residence. Interesting world we live in.....!! It can be true maybe! 6. Police and DCI says they never sent anyone or know anything about Matiangi's arrest but Omari is demanding that the former could have visited a purported intrusion. No one was hurt, arrested or any neighbors complained of a crime except Matiangi.....but nonetheless the DCI could have gone to the scene of "crime" to take statements because its the right of every citizen to be accorded security and right to investigation. I agree Dunston sir and now that you secured for Matiangi anticipatory bail let him reduce fear and anxiety. May the truth come out as I wish Daktari the best. I wish Kenya can be a place we all feel safe and free to mingle without looking who is following us. It is always good to do the right things, so that as you leave that public office like Magara and Prof. Magoha, you are never worried on EACC, DCI, KRA or any other agency. I am not in any way implying Matiangi did any wrong here but a general observation across board, Unknown to many, this is one of the reasons why mental health is a challenge to address. Today morning one is very ok and suddenly in the afternoon his/her demise is reported. Guys let us live a simple self-care life and issues of stress, anxieties, depression and suicidal thoughts shall never seek residence in our bodies. Shalom 🙏🙌

Some years back he'd his vehicle sprayed with bullets from a rally in Mwingi and we didn't get know who did it! Another time his colleague Hon Wetangula claimed his car was sprayed with bullets along mbagathi road,are this coincidences or some sort of drama to attract public sympathy! I supported Raila but some of the things he and his team pull are very suspicious.

The police goofed if they had responded to the "commotion" the plan would have worked perfectly. The waiting media would have seen the police coming to harass or arrest Matiangi. Unfortunately as usual Kenyan police don't come when you call.
