Once you do practice of just 5 to 15 multiplications a day for 5 days.... You will start to realise you are actually fast at this than regular method.... My case was the same. Hope it will help you if you follow

I would say that with practice they can both be done in about the same amount of time with similar levels of difficulty, I mean, essentially, you are doing the same thing, perhaps this way does just a tad bit more in one's head rather than on the paper though. The real benefit by doing it this way is that one does save a lot of space/paper as it is very much condensed compared to having to write out in full each line. Having been out of school for a long time, I haven't had to do these kinds of problems in quite a while, but honestly, if I were to have to do the problem, I think I would actually prefer this method as opposed to the longer more conventional way, it's just a shorthand method, and it isn't too difficult to do. And as I said, it saves a lot of paper.

Just use calculator finish in 2 seconds

I did the same multiplication by using the traditional method, and got the answer within 15 seconds, whereas you took a 40-50 secs by using vedic maths. I know vedic maths is useful, but it is not applicable everywhere.

Both the conventional method and the vedic method cost me 20 seconds after I've practiced the vedic method. However, it has saved me some ink and space on my paper. The vedic method also uses more processor power in my necktop causing it to overheat. But, once I get used to multiplying two to three multiplication problems in my head and then adding them together I can start shaving the seconds off my time.
