Very nice video man. I appreciate you for taking the time to shoot and post it here. Just a quick question, is there any specific reason for not using decathlon tents? Is it too heavy?

I enjoy watching your travelogues. It would be awesome if you shared tips on packing backpacks for multi day hikes in Maharashtra and ladakh. I have heavy bags and broken shoe experiences in both places

It’s really awesome video to cover such a long distance in that altitude, one question, what were the unnecessary items in your partner’s backpack as he was taking heavy backpack for two days trek.

It is a 200 km long trek. It was a 07-08 day plan. Things that he carried which in my opinion were not necessary are as follows; - Camp slippers - Cotton t-shirts x 2 - Thick and heavy raincoat that occupies a lot of volume The issue is that once the things that you carry are more, you end up needing a bigger backpack. The weight of just his backpack was 2.7 kilograms. So everything adds up. The weight of my backpack was 1200 gms.

Yes, I will find a natural depression and then later cover it with soil. I just wipe my body using a wet towel. I have never taken a bath during my Himalayan hikes as the water is extremely cold.
