Amazing demo! I was only aware of the basic styling of UraniumUI, not the additional features from the Explore UraniumUI Controls section. The Bottom Sheet Expanding is super convenient

Material design has been available to maui blazor hybrid app. I've managed to corporate mudblazor as my UI framework to my project. ^^ great video as always and thank for the support on the discord community !

WoIt all looks pretty cool. That was what was missing, namely the beautiful quality control controls in maui.

Love this but having a problem with Validation on Windows 11. The validators work, but when you set focus back to the TextField to change the text, after adding a character, the focus is lost from the TextField. Works great on Android Emulator, but VERY annoying on Windows. Hoping this can be fixed soon as I'm not sure I can use that since half my application will be Windows.

Hi Gerald, I am new to .net maui. I have an app for 12 years on IOS store. I want to now create the same app for Android. The app has a database which read-only, its very secure on IOS. How do I keep it heavy secure on .net maui for Android devices?

Use x:Name to access the field in the code behind or use databinding on the property that holds the value

Oops! Busted! Hahaha I was going to edit that out but forgot... I have a complicated setup because I need to work on iOS and Android and Windows so I need it all. Actually my main machine is a Mac but I do remote desktop into Windows. That's why you saw the little window shift. Good eye 😬

It follows the design that is the default on that platform. Apparently that is not the default for WinUI 🤷‍♂️

Hi Gerald, aren't these by default provided by the MS team? Why is MAUI lacking most of the Xamarin features ? Is MAUI really reliable for building production ready apps ?

These are not provided by Microsoft since Google itself deprecated Material design on iOS. This is one of the few things that were not ported from Xamarin. What else are you missing?

We don’t have anything on the roadmap. But as it’s a design language with clear specifications, anyone can implement it.

@pratham_dev for iOS there is no such thing. You can’t just run any code in a service like that in iOS. There are some exceptions like location tracking or playing audio, but not just any operation you want to

Shiny is one of my favorite projects, oto. But in the latest MAUI version there is no Windows support and it made me sad 😔
