I don't have ties to either team, but I've gotta say: I went to this game and it was difficult not to think that the referees were in favor of Mater Dei. Pretty much every score from Mater Dei was after Centennial had a bad call stunt their drive, call back a touchdown or give Mater Dei's offense a boost on their drive. There were also several times Mater Dei should have had penalties, but didn't. I can only imagine how frustrating it must have been for Centennial. It was really frustrating just for me, someone who just wanted to watch a good competition. To see Mater Dei go on to win the championship looked like a big messed up joke.

I went to this, it was sad

Mater Dei, St bosco, should be the game of the year looking forward to it..

I will give Mater Dei their well deserved credit. You guys "Put Together" a "Very Good" team. Great job on being the "West coast IMG Academy" and still need aide on getting to the championship!!! Like I said they deserve credit for the win but in my opinion and it's only my opinion if the "Home Field" officials do not blow the whistle on Centennials read option play in the first series which was a TD it's a different ball game. You don't have the first pick six. Then on the kickoff return which set Corana up in good field position was called back for a "Phantom" hold. When playing a "Rollison Mater Dei Unit" like this one you can't "Give" them early momentum. I respect both teams "Logan has been Great" for years and "Rollo" resume speaks for itself. But I believe it would have been a better game if played on a neutral field!!! Centennial D-line is "For Real"!!! 90-99-54 Beast

Cant do schematically wrong things against teams with the same amount of talent as you. Cant run hitches with squat corners. You have to convert or sight adjust. Cant get pushed to the sidelines. Once you lose the alley, the sideline becomes a defender. Run it correctly MD comes off the squat corners or gets beat vertically. It will back the corners up and create running game holes and combo route concepts. You can screen that side or flood that side also. Plus the game changes when you're not in a 3 score hole so early
