Another win, the outcome more important than style, thankfully!

I'm sending a lot of tension in Warnes interviews just lately,I reckon he's asked for certain things in the transfer market but he's not convinced he's gonna get them. And he knows that if we don't strengthen we probably will fall short again, so he's tense, concerned, worried, all whilst trying to get results. I think the p!Ayers can sense the tense vibes aswell.

Possibly. He was assured he was going to be be backed this transfer window, either Warne can't scout, players don't want to join him/us or he's been stitched up.

We're aiming our sights too high or at players in our league who will not be made available. Elliot Nevitt from Crewe would be a great buy. The best back-to-goal player I have seen in years. Warne must have seen him as he banged one in against us. Talk is JCH is going Wrescum for 500k? Get him at PP he's like a little boy round Warney

For 2 thirds of that game we got played off the park. But the last third we were in cruise control. A draw would’ve been a fair outcome but we’ll take any win as it comes at this stage of the season. If we don’t sign a striker and a midfielder between now and 11pm on Wednesday I’ll be resigned to another season in League One.

Hi Dan its Tim haha 😂 I was at the game today and we were rubbish first half and were luck that we scored 2 great goals today. I think the players we have are good enough just they are not utilised properly and I think Fornah should start. Funny to see you here haha.

One hell of a great question, cos I don't think they good enough at all ?

We are so frustrating to watch at times and it’s like they don’t want it as much? There are certain players who let us down at times but today it looked like hourihane was slowing the game down and didn’t look good? Just my opinion but result is what counts

In situations like this 75% of the blame has to be on the players. For me managers get too much blame. Players are out there to do the job, simple as that. Woeful today, got out of jail with an undeserved win. That's this season summed up in a nutshell. Lets pray its a top six finish at the end of it!!!

Some players aren't capable of playing the way they've been set up. The manager gets a contract and so should get the time given to build his side like Clowes is doing with Warne and the coaches ,, we're 15 months into it so it would be utterly stupid to bail and sack the management and coaches,, he's now got a lot of the players we need for it,, the midfield is now the issue ie Bird Hourihane Sibley being the next lot to be replaced,, needs another window or two. After that it's a case of just oiling the machine ie replacing one or two players here and there. Like Mendez getting on in age and needing replacing etc. The next manager needs to be another Warne type to keep the wheel rubbing smoothly. Unless Clowes sells up and the new owner wants a different route and so the cycle starts again in changing it all. Fans need to realize this is where Clowes wants us to go, his manager, a certain style, running the club this way. Tiki taka is never going to be Warnes ty pe of football, he wasn't brought in to produce it.

Not with Bird Hourihane as the midfield two no we don't. Hopefully they're both gone soon and Warne gets more athleticism in midfield. Keep rebuilding and it'll get there.

“The Basics” we didn’t get right today were the formation, starting XI and tactics. There is no way that Collo, NML, Barkhuizen, Blackett-Taylor, Sibley and Wilson can all play in the same XI. There was no balance and there is no way an XI with all those in together can be balanced. The last 20 XI would beat the starting XI everyday of the week, and that’s not against any of the personnel, it’s against the formation and combinations of that personnel. Warner never recognises his errors, it’s always that his bit was perfect and that the players for some reason weren’t able to apply his perfect master plan. Similar at Reading in midweek. We’re lucky to come away from those two games with 3 points and it was the manager’s errors in both games that nearly cost us 4 if not 6 points in my opinion. Anybody who has played the game at any level (you don’t have to be a professional to be able to understand the basics) will have played in training sessions where the most skilful players have all been matched against a functioning unit. The functioning unit always wins. It’s not because of player errors (although there were some player errors) it’s not putting the best functioning unit together that makes the difference. It’s happened a few times and I wonder about the nouse behind the one liners…?

Derby are never at there best , a winter pitch what is he talking about, but yeah , he needs to go

It's a win but if we play like that next weekend, it's a guaranteed Charlton win. Especially as they've recently sacked a manager and haven't won in ages

Sacking someone for being openly racist isn’t wokeness.

Unfortunately I think Paul Warne needs to be replaced. The tactics, shape and style of play is massively sub par. The quality of the players for this league are pulling us through by the skin of their teeth. If we had Rosenoir with these players I believe we would be cruising at the top of the league. Can’t be relying on subs to come in and express themselves to win games. First half and some of the second was very embarrassing to watch. Sad thing is it’s not the first time this season.

He should go even if we get promoted. He’s done absolutely nothing in the last 18 months to make me think he can help us progress un the Championship if he can get us up.
